No Audio?

If you cannot hear any audio:
  1. Check to make sure that you can hear other audio content on your computer (such as the system startup sounds)
  2. Check to see that the volume slider is set to a position so that you should be able to hear it
  3. Check that your speakers are powered on and turned up

'I've upgraded my Windows Media Player, but the Broadcast Manager keeps telling me I need to upgrade'

This problem can occur if your browsers list of plug-ins has not been refreshed since you installed the upgrade. To resolve this problem:
  1. Close the Broadcast Manager and your browser.
  2. Relaunch your browser, return to the Ladbrokes Web Site and re-open the Broadcast Manager.

Does the player attempt to play the content?

When connecting to video, the player will animate a "Microsoft Windows Media" logo. If it fails to connect, it will stop animating. This could be because :

  1. The channel you select is not currently broadcasting.
If this is the case, after a short space of time a graphic will appear saying 'This channel is not currently broadcasting'
  2. You could have a network problem.
Either you are behind a Proxy Server / Firewall or you have a local networking problem. To resolve this, speak to your network administrator about the Firewall settings you should be using. If they are unsure, tell them that you should be able to receive the content via HTTP and ask them to check your system settings. If you can browse the web, it is likely that your player can play the content and this would suggest that there is a different problem.
