It's crunch time for Arsenal as they attempt to get over the line in their quest for the Premier League title. The Gunners' league form has been good after a slight wobble in January and February, and they're now unbeaten in eight. However, they were meek in their 2-0 Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City, before being stunned by Championship side Southampton in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Mikel Arteta's men got back on track thanks to a late Kai Havertz winner in the Champions League in midweek.

Bournemouth, like many teams in the Premier League's middle pack, have had an inconsistent season and currently sit 13th, but are just seven points behind Liverpool in 5th. After losing a host of key players last summer, it's been a transition year for the Cherries, and they could also lose highly-rated manager Andoni Iraola in the summer.

Arsenal won the reverse fixture 3-2, but will not underestimate Bournemouth after they did the double over the Gunners in 2024/25. We reckon it will be another nervy game, but Arsenal will have just about enough to get over the line, grinding out a 1-0 win.

Mikel Arteta's side are not the prettiest to watch, and they ground out another 1-0 win away at Sporting in their Champions League quarter-final first leg. The Gunners have the best defensive record in the Premier League, having conceded 22 goals in 31 games. Meanwhile, Bournemouth have failed to score in their last two away games. Four of Arsenal's last five games have gone under 2.5 goals, and we're predicting that to happen again.

After a slow start, Viktor Gyokeres is beginning to consistently make an impact in an Arsenal shirt. The Swedish striker has five goals in his last four appearances for club and country, and was vital in securing his country a spot at the World Cup. Gyokeres scored a crucial 88th-minute goal against Everton in Arsenal's last Premier League home game, and now has 17 goals in all competitions in his debut season in England. We're backing him to continue his good form by having at least one shot on target.

Bournemouth right-back Alex Jimenez has settled well since arriving on the south coast from AC Milan last summer initially on loan, with the move made permanent in February. The former Real Madrid academy product looks to be another shrewd piece of recruitment, and at just 20 years old the Spaniard has plenty of room to grow. His inexperience has shown at times this season, collecting nine yellow cards in the league, more than any other Bournemouth player. Against Arsenal's pacey attack, we anticipate Jimenez picking up another booking.
