Arsenal to win

Mikel Arteta's men are starting to believe after they extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to seven points with a scruffy 1-0 win at Brighton last Wednesday, with Manchester City dropping points at home to Nottingham Forest on the same night. City still have a game in hand and host Arsenal later this season, but after a wobble in January and February the Gunners have their momentum back after three straight league wins.

They come up against a tricky Everton team who shouldn't be underestimated, currently on the fringes of the European positions in 8th. The Toffees have thrived on their travels this season, possessing the 4th best away record in the division, and are unbeaten in six on the road, losing just once in the last ten.

However, The Emirates has been a fortress this season, with Arsenal winning eleven of their fourteen league games and losing just once. We're predicting that good form to continue, with Arsenal picking up another big three points in their pursuit of the title, winning 2-0.

Under 2.5 goals

Arsenal's success this season has been built on defensive solidity and set-piece prowess, and though it might not be pleasing on the eye for neutrals, it has certainly been effective. The Gunners have the meanest defence in the league, conceding 22 goals in thirty games.

At the other end, David Moyes' side will be comfortable sitting deep and playing on the counter. Only 29% of Everton's away games this season have had over 2.5 goals, and although each of their last two, wins at Fulham and Newcastle, went over, prior to that each of their last nine away league games had two goals or less.

Furthermore, four of the last five meetings between these two have had under 2.5 goals, so to go with our 2-0 prediction, we're adding under 2.5 goals to our Arsenal vs Everton bet builder.

Viktor Gyokeres 1+ shots on target

It's taken time for Viktor Gyokeres to get up to speed since his move from Sporting Lisbon last summer, but ten goals in his debut Premier League campaign is not a bad return, and he's enjoying a hot streak of late with five goals in his last seven games. The Sweden striker scored the only goal in Arsenal's 1-0 win at the Hill Dickson Stadium earlier this season, so we're tipping him to make an impact against Everton again by having at least one shot on target.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to get booked

Everton midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been one of the signings of the season, slotting in effortlessly on Merseyside after finding regular first-team football hard to come by at Chelsea. Usually operating as one of the three behind the striker, he's had a strong season with six goals and five assists, and his off-the-ball work rate and defensive reliability have made him a firm Moyes favourite. Dewsbury-Hall has however collected six yellow cards, and in a game where Arsenal will expect to have a lot off the ball, it's plausible that he could tire and pick up another booking.
