Max Verstappen predicted to have an excellent weekend, while Ferrari struggle to make the podium

Ladbrokes explore all the latest odds ahead of the 2026 Bahrain Grand Prix, with World Championship leader Kimi Antonelli at the front of the market.
Taking place in Malaysia, this weekend's race sees Formula 1 return to the popular Sepang Circuit for the first time since 2017, with ongoing global issues in the Middle East removing Bahrain as an option - but at such an eye-catching venue, this weekend still promises to deliver all the drama and excitement we've come to expect from this entertaining grid of drivers.

Despite being forced to settle for fifth in Azerbaijan last week, Kimi Antonelli once again leads the markets ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix, with the 20-year-old becoming the first person to hit 300 points in this year's Drivers' Standings.
The Mercedes man remains firm favourite to pick up his first-ever World Championship title this year, and looks to extend his lead at the top in Malaysia - but the bookies are backing last week's race winner, George Russell, to push him all the way at the Sepang Circuit.
Lando Norris and Max Verstappen - who actually won at this venue back in 2017 - then both come in with odds of 7/1, before Charles Leclerc completes the bookies' top five.
Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton comes next, looking to win just his second race of the season, before Oscar Piastri and Isack Hadjar - who grabbed a podium finish last week - round off the group of favourites.
After only finishing fifth last week, Kimi Antonelli will be doing everything to respond at the Bahrain Grand Prix - but our experts are backing Max Verstappen to win a Formula One race for the first time since December. Antonelli makes our podium, ahead of teammate Russell, while the Ferrari duo are tipped to struggle.
