Ben Jones Aintree Day Two rides schedule

2.55 - Sober Glory

I start Friday with Sober Glory in the Top Novices' Hurdle, and I think he's the one to beat here. His form has been unbelievable all year, and he ran an incredible race at Cheltenham, jumping and travelling really well. I thought I'd put that race to bed, but we just missed the last. To be fair to him, he did well to battle on and finish in second that day. So I'm very much looking forward to going out with him again, and I think it's his race to lose. He should be winning this.

4.40 - Moundoui'boy

Moundoui'boy is my second and last ride of the day, in the Sefton Novices' Hurdle. Again, all I did all week at Cheltenham was talk about him - I really, really fancied him and he was 33/1 there... I couldn't believe that he was such a big price. He's second-favourite here, which he definitely should be. He's in brilliant order at home, and after every run he's had, he's just come back bouncing, really fresh and well. He looks a million dollars. He's another one I'm looking forward to riding again, and seeing what kind of race we can run.

So after the first day where I had one ride, I've got two on day two, and I fancy both of them, to be honest. I'd probably say my better chance is Sober Glory, but I don't think Moundoui'boy should be too far away, either.
