3.47 - Huntingdon - Maestrow

We start the day at Huntingdon with a horse called Maestrow, who has so far ran in a couple of bumpers. He schools really well at home for Ben [Pauling], but this will probably be more of an educational one; one where he's learning on the job, really. Ben's got a couple in the race which are very similar in that regard, but we're hopeful he can run a nice race for us.

4.50 - Huntingdon - Out Of It

The second one of the day is a horse called Out Of It, and this is his first time in a handicap, having ran in three novices' hurdles up to now. He looks like a nice, big, strong horse who jumps really well - although it's not really one I can say I know very well. I've spoken with James Bowen though, who has ridden him three times, and he tells me he's really straight-forward to work with. Obviously this is his first time in a handicap though, and all being well, he should have a nice each way chance.

5.25 - Huntingdon - Homme d'Un Soir

My third of the day is with Homme d'Un Soir, and Billy Aprahamian actually won a Military race on him last time out, a couple of weeks ago. He's always a horse who has run his race throughout the season. he goes back over fences on Saturday, which is a positive. He jumps really well and looks good right-handed, so hopefully he should be bang there.

6.00 - Huntingdon - Time Interval

Time Interval is my fourth ride of the day, one for David Dennis, and he's actually come down a hell of a lot in the weights. The drying ground will be a positive for him, and hopefully all of the conditions will suit him. This is a track he's won well at before, so I'm hopeful he'll have another decent chance here.

6.30 - Huntingdon - Running Happy

I finish the day with Running Happy; a bumper horse for Seamus Mullins. I don't know a lot about him, but I rode a bumper winner for Seamus on Wednesday, and this is his work partner, so hopefully - all being well - if he's in the same kind of form as his partner, we shouldn't be too far away.
