3.00 - Newbury - Betty's Daisy

I've got two rides at Newbury on Saturday, starting with Betty's Daisy for Ben Pauling in the mares' listed novices' handicap. I won a bumper on her, first time out, and she's a nice little filly. She needed a first run for experience, and then she went to Ludlow and won nicely. She looked like she was all about winning at Warwick the last day, but she made a mistake at the last and we finished second. I think she's a nice mare going forward. She won't want the ground drying up too much... as long as it's good to soft, that'll be fine for her. We have a good chance in this big field, though, for sure.

3.35 - Newbury - Keltype

Then I've got one for Rebecca Curtis in the Hundred Grand Bumper - a horse called Keltype. I actually broke this in a couple of years ago for Rebecca, so it's nice to be getting back on him, and it'll obviously be quite a special occasion for us all if we were to win here. He's a lovely, big, grey horse who is going to be better next year when going over obstacles. He won very nicely the last day at Chepstow, and I'm very much looking forward to riding him here. He's another who's got a great chance, I think, but more than anything I'm looking forward to reuniting with him.
