Brighton and Liverpool kick off Saturday's action in the Premier League with the Reds looking to strengthen their hopes of securing a Champions League place next season with three points on the South Coast.

The Reds are currently fifth in the table, which should be enough to remain in Europe's elite competition next season, but have picked up just a point from their last two league games as the likes of Manchester United, Aston Villa and Chelsea look to pip them to a place. A 4-0 second-leg victory over Galatasaray in the Champions League last 16 will no doubt have lifted spirits within Arne Slot's camp, however.

Three wins in four in the league has improved the mood at Brighton and steered them comfortably away from any relegation worries, with a climb back into the top half now back on the cards for Fabian Hurzeler's men.

Dominik Szoboszlai continues to be leading light for Liverpool this season after another starring performance to inspire a second-leg comeback against Galatasaray in the Champions League last 16.

The Hungary international has 12 goals this season and averages 0.7 shots on target per game and at 1/1 looks like a good value pick to test the keeper with another effort in this match.

Diego Gomez has chipped in with a few goals for Brighton of late but he has also been testing the referee's patience with a yellow card in each of his last two games against Arsenal and Sunderland.

The combative Paraguay international was also booked in the Seagulls' last game against Liverpool in the FA Cup and with nine yellow cards overall this season, we are tipping him to add to his tally on the South Coast.

All of Liverpool's last three away Premier League games have been decided by a single goal and two of those have seen only one goal scored and we are expecting another tight encounter on the road for the Reds.

It is a similar story for the Seagulls with eight of their last 10 Premier League games seeing two goals or less scored, so backing a low total goals figure feels like the way to go.

Finally, we're tipping the game to end all square, which falls in line with our score prediction of a 1-1 draw.

Despite Liverpool's big win in midweek, they have been extremely patchy in the Premier League, with a Champions League place still far from certain, and with Brighton enjoying a nice run of form, we think the Reds drop more points in the battle for the top five here.
