Liverpool to beat Frankfurt

Liverpool are in desperate need of a result when they face Frankfurt in the Champions League this Wednesday, with Arne Slot's side currently on a four-game losing streak. The Reds lost their last UCL outing against Galatasaray, and are now without a victory in all competitions since late September - but we're tipping them to end that run here.

Frankfurt have had a crazy start to the Champions League league phase, beating Galatasaray 5-1 in their opener, only to lose to Atletico Madrid by the same scoreline in GW2. They're also not setting the Bundesliga alight, so this is an excellent opportunity for Liverpool to get back on track - and we think they'll take it.

Arsenal to win at home to Atletico Madrid

In stark contrast, Arsenal are looking unstoppable at the moment with five wins on the bounce, and we're tipping them to extend that run when they host Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night. The Gunners have made the perfect start to their Champions League campaign, and a third straight win would see them solidify their place amongst this season's UCL favourites.

Atletico are known for being tough to beat, but aren't expected to hurt Arsenal too much, with Mikel Arteta's side yet to concede a goal in the league phase. Arsenal are in frightening form, and we're expecting them to come out on top in what could well be a very tight affair.

Newcastle and Benfica to draw

Newcastle's season has got off to a rather slow start, but their dominant victory against Union Saint-Gilloise last time out will be a huge boost for their hopes of progressing through the Champions League league phase. They've lost their only UCL home game so far, falling victim to a Marcus Rashford masterclass as Barcelona showed their quality, and the Magpies could be in for another tough test against Benfica on Tuesday.

Jose Mourinho's side remain unbeaten in the Liga Portugal this season, and pushed Chelsea all the way in their GW2 Champions League clash in September. This should be a cracking game, with the likes of Nick Woltemade and Vangelis Pavlidis having the quality to hurt their opponents. Ladbrokes is predicting that this one will end all square, with Benfica grabbing their first UCL point of the season.

Real Madrid to win at home to Juventus

Rounding off our 2025/26 Champions League acca is arguably the standout fixture of the week, with two European heavyweights going toe-to-toe as Real Madrid host Juventus. Real Madrid have made a typically strong start to the UCL with two wins from two, and with Juventus still waiting to pick up their first victory, we think the Spaniards will have far too much quality.

History points to a great game here, with both sides winning meetings over the years, but with Juve stuttering in Serie A and Real Madrid blowing teams away consistently, the Italians could be in for a difficult night. Kylian Mbappe - one of the Golden Boot favourites - already has five UCL goals this season, and has scored in 11 straight matches for club and country. Real Madrid's firepower should be too much, so we're tipping them to make it three wins from three.
