Chelsea have a monumental task ahead of them in their bid to reach the Champions League quarter-finals as they look to overturn a three-goal deficit against holders Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16.

The Blues were beaten 5-2 in Paris last week and will need to summon some heroics if they are to turn the tie around, though Saturday's limp 1-0 defeat at home to Newcastle in the Premier League has not done much to convince supporters a turnaround is on the cards.

Stranger things have happened though and Liam Rosenior's men only have to look at the two sides' 2014 meeting in the quarter-finals for inspiration, having recovered from a 3-1 defeat in the first leg to progress on away goals courtesy of a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge.

If Chelsea are to pull off the result they need, they will need top goalscorer Joao Pedro to be at the races in West London as they look to claw back the tie.

The Brazilian is probably the main success story of their transfer business last summer with 18 goals in all competitions, including three in seven Champions League games. Despite failing to score in Paris or against Newcastle, Pedro had eight in nine before that and we're tipping him to get back on the scoresheet.

After two late goals off the bench to seemingly take the tie away from Chelsea, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia should come in to start this game and the Georgian is tipped for another goal in our bet builder.

Kvara has a superb record in the competition this season, averaging a goal (six) or assist (four) every 63 minutes in the Champions League this season (10 in 10 games) - so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him bag another even if he does end up starting on the bench.

After seven goals in the first leg, it looks like being more of the same on Tuesday night with Chelsea in particular needing to attack the game if they are to stay in the competition.

While we think they are likely to score at least a few, they also have PSG's attacking threat to contend with and it would be a surprise to see the hosts keep a clean sheet. Backing over 3.5 total goals feels like a reasonable suggestion.

Our score prediction has leant towards a draw but we are increasing our chances in our bet builder with a double-chance pick of Chelsea to win or draw.

While we think Chelsea will come out and take a game to the Parisians, we can't see them becoming only the second team to overturn a three-goal deficit against a Champions League holder - though there is every chance they could win on the night.
