Chris Coleman on Spurs' relegation battle, Sunderland and Aaron Ramsey's retirement
Former Wales manager has tipped Aaron Ramsey for a move into management following his retirement
Coleman believes Roberto De Zerbi will not get time to implement his ideas at Tottenham
The ex-Sunderland boss believes the Black Cats could push for surprise European qualification

Former Wales manager Chris Coleman speaks exclusively to Ladbrokes following his former captain Aaron Ramsey's decision to retire from football.
Also an ex-Premier League boss, Coleman backs the former Arsenal star for a management role, offers his thoughts on Tottenham's ongoing relegation battle and Sunderland's surprise push for European qualification.
Tottenham relegation odds
De Zerbi under pressure in Premier League survival market
Tottenham’s decision to appoint Roberto De Zerbi has added intrigue to the relegation battle, with the Italian stepping in during a high-pressure run-in. With limited time to implement his ideas, results will be key in the survival betting market.
"I’d say there’s twice as much pressure on Spurs right now as well, because everybody is looking at them. You know, this is Tottenham Hotspur; how can they be in this position?
"They’re not supposed to be where they are, they’ve spent so much money, they’ve got one of the best stadiums in the world, the best facilities, an incredible fan base, so much history, and there’s a possibility of them going down. It’s unthinkable; it really is.
"This is a really strange time for Roberto De Zerbi. He’s a very interesting coach, and a deep thinker who is very intricate with his details and his demands.
"But with seven games to go, it’s more about your character, and about who wants it most. He hasn’t got enough time to put all of his long-term ideas into place… he’s walked into a fight.
"I think they need two wins. Two wins and another draw should keep them up."
Sunderland European odds
Black Cats backed for continental qualification
Sunderland’s impressive return to the Premier League has sparked interest in the European qualification market. Coleman believes they could still push for a surprise finish inside the European places.
"It’s a super, super club. It was amazing watching them win promotion the way they did.
"Then to go and start this season in the Premier League as strongly as they did… it’s been amazing to watch.
"Of course, they’re not going to get relegated, and they’ve got an outside chance of European football.
"They’ve got a great chance of doing that this weekend against Tottenham Hotspur."
Arsenal Premier League and Champions League odds
Ramsey backed for management as Gunners target major honours
Aaron Ramsey’s retirement has sparked praise for his career, with Chris Coleman tipping him for a future in management. Attention now turns to Arsenal’s chances in both the Premier League and Champions League markets.
"Aaron Ramsey is the best midfielder to have ever come out of Wales. He’s a super player.
"In some of the big games over the years where we needed people with big characters, not just talent, but big courage and character, he had bundles.
"He was a fantastic player. It’s a shame he’s retired, but it comes to everybody.
"Aaron has got a real love for football, and when you’ve got that, it’s hard to leave the game for good.
"He may have six months to a year out, to spend a bit of time with his family, but sooner or later, I think he’ll come back in on the coaching side.
"I think that’ll be the case for Aaron Ramsey… I think he’ll come back in on the coaching side of things."
