Sandown
1.50 - Sandown - Unknown Entity
Unknown Entity is the first of the day for us at Sandown, in the EBF Final, and it feels like this kind of step-up in trip and track will be a positive for him. He qualified at Ludlow, which is way too quick a track, before running really nicely at Wincanton. I think he should equip himself really well here, and the track difference should be a fair positive for him. It's a highly competitive race, though, as you'd expect.
3.00 - Sandown - Lune Brilliante & Capricciose
We've got two running in the mares' bumper - Lune Brilliante is the one we've had in mind for this race for quite some time now. She won a bumper up at Carlisle at the start of the season and then ran really well around Huntingdon, on a track that was just way too tight for her - but it was a listed race. This track is much more like it for her, although the field is obviously a very competitive one. We're well aware how hard it's going to be, but we do think she'll run really well.
Capricciose is the other mare for us in this one, and she's a new one to us. She's also won around Carlisle before, so this track will really suit her as well. She's tough, she's hardy, and even though she's new to us, I think this is a really good race for her and I'd have to give her an each-way chance.
4.10 - Sandown - Mr Hope Street
We've also got Mr Hope Street running in a novices' limited handicap chase. He put up a great run earlier in the year at Haydock in a very competitive race, but he's had a little niggle since, and we've had to give him a little bit of time. I do think he'll improve a lot for this run, but it's nice to get him back out there. I think this trip (2m 4f) is a nice trip for him, and the track is obviously fine. I'm just looking forward to getting him back out there and am hopeful he'll improve for the run.
Hereford
2.52 - Hereford - Largy Belter
We've got one runner at Hereford on Saturday: Largy Belter. He won last time at Leicester, and going right-handed suits him. This is over two miles which will suit him as well, so I'd say he's got a great chance. There's another last-time-out-winner in the field which will make things competitive, but I do think we've got a big chance. We've kept him to right-handed tracks the last couple of times, and it's just a better job for him. I'm really happy with him.
