Darts Premier League 2026: Night Eight - Berlin

Ladbrokes shares a quick rundown of what to expect from Night Eight of the 2026 Darts Premier League, as the players take to the oche in Berlin.

Luke Littler's resurgence continued with another nightly win in Dublin last week, and the world number one is once again the early favourite to triumph this week, with the bookies backing the teenager to end the night at the top of the Premier League table.

Below, you'll find a quick look at each of Night Eight's opening-round fixtures, plus the odds & favourites - and don't forget to check out our season overview!

It's top vs bottom as surprise Premier League leader Jonny Clayton takes on Josh Rock, with the latter still searching for his first points of the season - but the odds are pointing to yet another disappointing evening for the tournament debutant in Berlin.

Clayton lost his opening match of the night for the first time this season when he fell to Luke Humphries last week, but having already beaten Rock once in the 2026 Premier League, the Welshman will be confident of resuming his excellent campaign with another victory here.

Rock is bound to win at some point, with a nine-darter in Belfast proving his quality, but we're predicting that he will have to wait a little longer yet.

Luke Humphries has clambered back into the top four despite not yet picking up a nightly win in 2026, and as he faces Michael van Gerwen - who sits just one point behind him in the table - the world number two will know he can go all the way in Berlin.

Seven-time Premier League winner Michael van Gerwen is always a threat, but having already lost emphatically to Humphries on two separate occasions this month, the Dutchman will have to upset the odds if he wants to claim his second nightly win of the year.

The table suggests this will be tight, and it certainly isn't one to miss, but we're backing Humphries to make it three from three against MVG.

World number one, Luke Littler, has finally regained something close to the form that saw him claim his second World Championship in as many years, with his triumph in Dublin making it two nightly wins in three weeks - and the teenager is heavily tipped to repeat the feat in Berlin.

Stephen Bunting has lost each of his last three games against Littler, including last week's quarter-final, and having not won a match in any competition over the last two weeks, the Bullet's form suggests he's bang up against it here.

Littler's European Tour didn't go amazingly in the week, losing to Niels Zonneveld in the last eight, but if his recent Premier League form is anything to go by, then he could sail through this quarter-final.

Rounding off the quarter-finals in Berlin, Gian van Veen returns to Premier League action against Gerwyn Price, whose last three Premier League defeats have all come at the hands of Luke Littler - so the Welshman will fancy his chances here.

Van Veen missed last week due to illness, but with the world number three back in the fold, his push for the top four continues after a decent start to his maiden Premier League campaign - even if he is waiting for a first nightly win of the year.

Both Price and van Veen have won a head-to-head meeting already this season, and with both those matches finishing 6-5, we should be in for another entertaining affair on Thursday night, with Price the marginal favourite ahead of play.
