Ladbrokes previews England vs Costa Rica in a pre-World Cup international friendly
Harry Kane is tipped to score with England winning both halves
The Three Lions are predicted to score at least two goals and keep a clean sheet

England play their final game before the World Cup kicks off properly when they square off against Costa Rica in Orlando on Wednesday.
Thomas Tuchel put out a different XI in each half as they laboured to a 1-0 win over New Zealand on Saturday night, but the Three Lions boss may opt for a lineup closer to his first choice as their World Cup opener against Croatia on June 17 edges closer, although getting some minutes into the legs of the Arsenal players who have only just joined up with the squad following the Champions League final will also be a priority.

Fixture: England vs Costa Rica
Competition: International friendly (World Cup warm-up)
Date: Wednesday, June 10, 2026
Kick-off: 21:00 BST
Venue: Inter&Co Stadium, Orlando
Our predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Pickford / James, Konsa, Guehi, O'Reilly / Rice, Anderson / Saka, Eze, Madueke / Kane
Our predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Sequeira / Quiros, Mitchell, Faerron, Araya / Salazar, Flores / Mora, Soto, Alcocer / Ugalde
Harry Kane was the man to settle an uninspiring game against New Zealand and remains the prime candidate for a goal for England, with the Bayern Munich man one of the most likely starters in the XI as he continues his scintillating season.
The 32-year-old nodded in his 62nd goal of the campaign and 79th in a Three Lions shirt and, having scored in eight out of the 10 international games he has been available for under Tuchel, it is at the point where it feels more surprising when he doesn't find the net.
Unlike Saturday's game, we are expecting England to score at least twice in what should be a slightly more free-flowing performance against a Costa Rica side that has struggled defensively of late, shipping three against Colombia and five versus Iraq in their last two matches.
That said, these pre-World Cup games can be stodgy, especially as England continue to adapt to the heat, so while we don't think they'll blow the Costa Ricans away, our experts believe they are good value for at least a couple of goals.
The third pick in our bet builder is for England to keep another clean sheet against Costa Rica, which will fill the back four with plenty of confidence heading into the World Cup.
England did not concede a single goal in eight games qualifying and, while they have been less tight in friendly games against Senegal, Uruguay and Japan over the last year, we don't envisage a Costa Rica team who missed out on reaching the tournament altogether posing too many issues.
Our final pick is for England to not only win the match, but also win both halves with at least a goal in each.
As we've mentioned, we're not expecting Costa Rica to pose too many problems for England and the game may also not be the most exciting spectacle. An early and a late goal should settle it as the Three Lions end their World Cup preparations with two wins from two.
