Footy punter wins £386k in 'one of the most extraordinary acca ever'

'One of the most 'extraordinary accas ever' saw a Ladbrokes football punter turn £5 into a staggering £386k.

The customer backed 19 home teams & relied on 106th minute winner for life-changing sum.

ONE CUSTOMER CORRECTLY PREDICTED 19 home teams in South America would all win this weekend, to the tune of a staggering £386,276.03 in one of the most bizarre and extraordinary accas Ladbrokes has ever seen.

The plucky punter, based in Dorset, had EIGHT separate 19-game accumulators - all with the same selections - at stakes ranging from 30p to 90p and totalling £5.10, and after cashing out four of the bets and letting the other four ride, won just shy of £400k in truly remarkable fashion.

The earliest kick-off (4th October, 10.10pm) of the 19 games in question concerned Union Magdalena (6/4), who remarkably came from 2-0 down with NINE MEN to beat Aguilas Doradas Rionegro, with a stunning winner coming in the 76th minute.

But much more drama was to follow, as Club Olimpia (7/10) came from 1-0 down to beat Sporting Ameliano after a penalty was converted in the 91st minute following a FOUR MINUTE VAR check in Paraguay to keep the bet alive.

The online customer also backed Red Bull Bragantino (10/11) to beat Gremio in the Brasileiro Serie A and looked all but set to miss out on hundreds of thousands of pounds until a penalty was controversially awarded for the hosts in the 102nd minute of the game - after another lengthy VAR check - four minutes after the allotted eight minutes of injury-time were up. The spot kick was eventually slotted away by Jhon Jhon in the 106th minute of the game.

Even more amazingly, all 19 winning teams were the home sides across the weekend.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: When it comes to sheer absurd accas, this one tops the lot. 19 teams, all at home, nine-men comebacks, 106th minute winners, cashouts... this bet had it all. "We're tipping our hat to our punter who might have landed the greatest acca of all-time, and suspect a trip to South America could well be on the cards for them!

Four of the eight accas were cashed out for £172,038.84, while the others were left to ride and landed the customer a further £196,237.19, totalling £386,276.03. Although, had the customer not have cashed out at all, they'd have won just over £556k.

The customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, revealed that after cashing out on four of the bets earlier on in the evening, they didn't know the final outcome until they checked the results the next day:

I felt like I was dreaming... I had studied the form of a lot of the teams and just felt lucky. I cashed out on a few of the bets because I wanted to win something, and I wasn't confident all 19 teams would go on and win. I don't know what I'm going to do with the winnings yet, but I'm now able to help my family out... it really is a dream come true.
