Grand National 2026 betting: Last year's runner-up favourite to go one better
Ladbrokes looks at the front-runners and favourites for the 2026 Grand National
The Grand National betting market for this year's race has I Am Maximus, last year's runner-up, as the favourite.
It's all to play for though, with Grangeclare West and Jagwar both priced at 10/1 or shorter,
I Am Maximus, the runner-up in the 2025 race, is tipped to win the Grand National taking place at Aintree this weekend.

Grand National betting 2026
The Willie Mullins-trained 10-year-old, who finished second last year to Nick Rockett, is just 7/1 to get back to winning ways at Aintree this Saturday, putting him at the head of the betting.
Grangeclare West, who finished third last year, is 9/1 as things stand, while Nick Rockett is currently a 16/1 shot.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: For the third year running, I Am Maximus heads the Grand National betting with more Willie Mullins domination expected at Aintree this week.
