Hull City
Ladbrokes share predictions for Hull City vs Everton in the Premier League
Everton are tipped to win 1-0 in a low-scoring game at the MKM Stadium
Thierno Barry is predicted to score the winner, with Matt Crooks shown a card

Just a point separates Hull City and Everton in the top half of the Premier League as they prepare to face off on Sunday in their first games back after the extended international break.
Championship play-off winners Hull, tipped by many for relegation before the season started, have defied expectations by picking up eight points from their first five games, while Everton have a point more after enjoying an unbeaten start to the campaign. A win for either side could push them into the top-four places, with the Toffees favoured in the current odds.

Thierno Barry has enjoyed a quietly productive start to the season, scoring twice in five Premier League games as well as netting a hat-trick against Preston in the Carabao Cup. Much was made of the Toffees' failure to sign a new striker over the summer but Barry is proving to be a constant threat with at least a shot on target per game so far. We're backing the Frenchman to score the winner here.
Matt Crooks has picked up a booking in all three Premier League games he has featured in so far, having topped the Championship table for yellow cards last season with 13. The English midfielder is regularly a favourite to be booked as a result and we believe a similar outcome could be on the cards in this game.
A low-scoring game looks likely, with both Hull and Everton seeing two goals or less scored in five of their seven games in all competitions this season. Everton have also kept a clean sheet in their last three games, with Hull failing to score in their last home game against Aston Villa. Under 2.5 total goals feels like the way forward here as a result.
Finally, we're backing a third consecutive victory for Everton on Sunday afternoon, which will catapult David Moyes' men into the European qualification conversation at this early stage. Since surprisingly winning their opening two games of the season, the Tigers are without a victory in four games in all competitions and another defeat will be a reminder of the mammoth task they face to survive in the top flight in 2026/27.
