Ladbrokes, as part of day 20 of the Festive Countdown Countdown, is tipping Newcastle to score, concede and lose in their Premier League match against Chelsea today.

It's strange to say that things aren't going too well for Newcastle right now considering they qualified for the semi-final of the Carabao Cup just a few days ago.

However, the Geordies have been majorly off colour in the Premier League so far this season, and despite some good performances, find themselves in the bottom half.

Things were particularly bleak for Eddie Howe's men last weekend, with the Geordies losing their first derby of the season against Sunderland, with star striker Nick Woltemade's own goal earning the play-off winners a 1-0 win.

They may be eager to put things right this weekend, but Newcastle are set to come up against one of the league's best sides, and will be doing so without many key men.

Tino Livramento joins Sven Botman, Kieran Trippier, Dan Burn, Emil Krafth, Jamaal Lascelles and Will Osula on the injury list, with Nick Pope and Lewis Hall also doubts for the game.

That means that young prospect Lewis Miley is expected to feature in defence, with a potentially half-fit Hall being risked at left-back, with Burn, Trippier and Livramento all on the medical table.

Newcastle conceding, due to their weakened defence, does seem like a sensible pick here. In fact, the last time a 'Both Teams to Score' bet wouldn't have come in for a domestic Newcastle game this season was back in October, when they beat Nottingham Forest.

To add to that point, with the exception of a 0-0 draw to Bournemouth earlier on this month, Chelsea have scored in every single game this campaign since their first game against Crystal Palace on August 17.

It seems like goals are going to be scored here, and with Newcastle not in the best form and Chelsea aiming to show why they're still in the title race, we're tipping the Blues to win.

So, with odds of 3/1, backing Chelsea to beat Newcastle and both teams to score in the Premier League match represents decent value for the 12:30 kickoff today.
