As part of day six of Ladbrokes' Festive Countdown series, Hugo Ekitike is tipped to find the back of the net for Liverpool when the reigning Premier League Champions play Leeds at Elland Road later on today.

Alexander Isak was signed as Liverpool's striker on Deadline Day this summer, joining from Newcastle for a Premier League record fee of £150m.

The move was one that excited Liverpool fans, but many questioned how Isak would fit into the side considering how well Hugo Ekitike started his career at Anfield.

Also joining Liverpool in the summer, Ekitike scored in his first three competitive games for the Reds. While many of Arne Slot's new men have taken their time to settle, the former Frankfurt attacker hit the ground running almost immediately.

Given that Isak started against both West Ham and Sunderland, it's unlikely that Slot picks up to play three games in six days, so don't be surprised if he starts Ekitike this weekend.

We're not only tipping Ekitike to start, but with an assumed probability of just over 40%, predicting the Frenchman to score could be worth a punt.
