Leeds are riding high off the back of stunning Chelsea at Elland Road with a 3-1 win on Wednesday night, and it should be a raucous atmosphere again that awaits a Liverpool team fragile in confidence. This season hasn't gone to plan so far Arne Slot, and they put in another unconvincing performance in a 1-1 draw with Sunderland at Anfield in midweek.

Home form will be crucial if Leeds are going to stay up, and they've picked up 11 of their 14 points this season at Elland Road. Liverpool won on their previous travels to West Ham, but prior to that had lost four away league games in a row. Germany international Lukas Nmecha has proved a shrewd addition to Leeds on a free transfer from Wolfsburg and currently tops their scoring charts, with four league goals so far from five starts. He scored in three consecutive games before the win over Chelsea, and has at least one shot target in each of the last six games. We're backing him to land another on target here.

In a season of ups and downs for Liverpool, Dominik Szoboszlai has been a beacon of consistency wherever he has been asked to play on the pitch, whether that's at right back, right wing, number 10 or central midfield. The Hungarian captain has had a shot on target in four of the last five games, and as he's nearly guaranteed to start while Slot figures out his best XI, we reckon he's a good bet to test the keeper at close to even money. It helps that he is on free-kicks too.

Former Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu is beginning to fulfil his potential in Yorkshire, becoming a key presence in midfield since his arrival in 2023. The 59-cap Wales international plays a crucial role at the base of midfield, screening in front of the defence and dictating the tempo with the ball, but has the occasional tendency to get carried away with some tackles. Ampadu has picked up four yellow cards this season, and with going up directly against Florian Wirtz, who's beginning to pick up some form, we could see the Welshman getting drawn into a booking.
