Liverpool being tipped to win, given that they've lost both of their games this season to the Turkish side, may appear strange. However, playing Galatasaray in Turkey is a totally different task to having the match elsewhere.

Galatasaray haven't lost a knockout Champions League home match since the 1970s, but their away form in Europe's top club competition isn't nearly as strong.

Of the five games Galatasaray have lost in the Champions League this season, four have come when playing away from home. In fact, Gala have only won one of their five away matches in the competition so far this campaign.

As such, we expect Liverpool's quality to shine through, with the match in 90 minutes ending with a win for the home side.

The reverse fixture may have ended in a 1-0 home win, but it's safe to say that both sides had multiple chances across the course of the match.

Neither Liverpool nor Galatasaray's defences looked totally solid in their last encounter, and on another day, both could have ended up conceding multiple goals.

With all to play for, and Liverpool having to attack from minute one to overcome their 1-0 disadvantage, we're tipping both teams to score.

Victor Osimhen showed against Liverpool that, despite not playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, that he remains one of the top strikers in world football.

The Nigerian may not have scored, but he ended the game with an assist and had one shot on target to his name. We're expecting him to do the former once again at Anfield this week.

Osimhen is averaging just shy of three shots on target per game in the Champions League, and with Liverpool having to attack, we expect this one to be open.
