Our predictions for Man United vs Fulham

Our prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Fulham

After becoming the only visiting team to win at Arsenal this season, Man United's hopes of securing Champions League football for the first time in three years have been firmly renewed, and they come into this clash as odds-on favourites to make it three wins from three.

Fulham won't make it easy, with just one defeat in their last eight Premier League games, but their away form has let them down on more than one occasion this term, so we're backing the Red Devils to pick up all three points with a narrow victory.

Bryan Mbeumo to have 2+ shots on target

One of the stars of the show at Arsenal last week, Bryan Mbeumo's goal set United on their way to a memorable comeback win, and we expect him to put in another eye-catching performance with at least two shots on target at home to Fulham.

The Cameroon international is United's top scorer this season with eight Premier League goals, and averages 1.5 shots on target per game, so we think he'll have his fair share of opportunities against a Fulham side who have faced at least 10 shots in each of their last 11 league games. Mbeumo himself has scored in back-to-back games, and with his confidence reflecting that of the team, we're anticipating a fluid attacking display from the hosts.

With that in mind, we're tipping Bryan Mbeumo to have 2+ shots on target against Fulham, as the forward looks to extend his goalscoring streak.

Both teams to score (BTTS)

With this clash pitting two spirited European hopefuls against each other, Ladbrokes is predicting Manchester United vs Fulham to be an excellent watch, and we're backing both teams to score on Sunday afternoon.

Fulham have found the net in 10 of their last 11 Premier League games, while United have scored in 11 in a row, and with neither defence proving overly convincing, we think this could be a match where the attacks come out on top. Six of the last seven meetings at Old Trafford between Manchester United and Fulham have seen both teams score, and with both sides being in such excellent form in front of goal, BTTS seems a valuable selection ahead of this one.

Almost 75% of United games feature goals for both teams, so we're expecting much of the same this weekend.

Sander Berge to be shown a card

Stepping into the cards markets now, and we're tipping Fulham's Sander Berge to pick up his fifth yellow card of the campaign in a combative display against Man United, with the Norwegian tasked with breaking up play in the middle of the park.

Berge is committing one foul per 90 in the Premier League this season, and with the likes of Amad Diallo, Bruno Fernandes, and Matheus Cunha all winning more than one free kick per game, the Fulham man will have to watch his step if he wants to avoid the book. In his more defensive midfield role, Berge averages nearly two tackles per game, so he always runs the risk of getting one wrong and catching the referee's attention.

The 27-year-old can't afford the United midfield any time on Sunday, so we think he'll be caught out by the hosts and pick up a booking for the second game on the bounce.

Man United to beat Fulham at Old Trafford

Rounding off our Man United vs Fulham bet builder and predictions, we're backing a third consecutive victory for the Red Devils, with Fulham falling to a narrow defeat at Old Trafford for the third time in four visits.

Wins against Manchester City and Arsenal have propelled United right back into the top-four conversation, and while home games against the likes of Everton, Bournemouth, and Wolves have been their downfall this term, we think they'll get over the line here. Fulham have won just one Premier League game at Old Trafford since October 2003, and despite Marco Silva's side sitting just four points behind their hosts ahead of kick-off, we're expecting the undeniable quality of United's frontline to come to the fore.

It should be an excellent match with a host of chances at either end, but Ladbrokes is backing a hard-fought home win for Manchester United.
