May 2018 odds-on for Harry and Meghan wedding – Will 1/10 for best man

Prince William is long odds-on to take the honours of being Prince Harry’s Best Man when his younger brother marries Meghan Markle.

The couple announced their engagement this morning and odds of just 1/10 are being offered that the Duke of Cambridge repays the favour and takes on the role of Best Man.

Meanwhile it’s fancied that Meghan’s close friends Jessica Mulroney (1/3) and Janina Gavankar (1/2) could be Bridesmaids along with Princess Charlotte as a flower girl.

Perhaps not too surprisingly, Meghan’s estranged half-sister, Samantha Grant, is an outsider at 50/1 to be called upon for her assistance.

We make May 2018 the 1/4 favourite to be the month of choice that they walk down the aisle.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Clearly the Duchess of Cambridge will need some time to recover from the birth of her third child, so a May wedding looks like a near certainty. As does Wills to repay the favour of being Prince Harry’s Best Man.”
