1. Scottie Scheffler

Scottie Scheffler's dominant position at the top of the world rankings is only increasing a dominant performance at The Open saw him win his second successive Major, taking his average to 20.2 points.

7. J.J. Spaun

J.J. Spaun's extraordinary victory at the US Open has catapulted him into the limelight and indeed the top 10, with his average also currently 5.3.

The American's previous best effort at a Major was finishing 35th at the 2018 PGA Championship but he negotiated the notoriously difficult Oakmont course, sealing the deal with a long-range put on the 18th hole to seal a memorable win.

Robert MacIntyre has surged into the Top 10 of the world rankings on the back of strong performances, including a 2nd‑place finish at the U.S. Open and runner‑up at the BMW Championship.
