The Ukrainian is already regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time, as one of only three male fighters to be an undisputed champion in two different weight categories.

Daniel Dubois is out for revenge after their controversial fight in 2023, and arrives full of confidence after a devastating performance against Anthony Joshua in his most recent fight.

Usyk heads into the fight as the odds-on favourite, with the bookies expecting him to repeat his victory over Dubois in 2023. Usyk is 1/3 to win the fight outright, with Dubois priced at 5/2.

The Ukrainian knocked out Dubois in the 9th round back then and is 11/10 to do so again. However, that is Usyk's only KO in his past six fights, with the rest won on points. That outcome here is odds of 2/1.

21 of Dubois' 22 professional wins have come by knockout, and the Brit is 7/2 to win by KO/TKO at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Most analysts think if Dubois is to pull off an upset, he needs to rock Usyk early.

With only one of Dynamite's career wins coming by decision, that outcome is seen as less likely at odds of 11/1, while the draw is priced at 18/1.

Oleksandr Usyk is unbeaten at 23‑0 with a 60 percent KO rate, and widely regarded as one of the most technically complete heavyweight fighters in history. He is one of only three male boxers to have held undisputed titles in two weight classes, cruiserweight and heavyweight. Usyk is 38 years old but shows no signs of slowing down and brings elite movement, timing and durability to bear on every opponent.

Daniel Dubois, at 27, holds the IBF heavyweight world title and boasts a record of 22‑2 with 21 wins by knockout, a blistering rate of over 95 percent. He rebounded from his loss to Usyk by stopping Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgović, then delivered arguably the defining result of his career by knocking out Anthony Joshua in September 2024. Dubois brings raw power and size, but has yet to fully show he can maintain it against elite movement over twelve rounds.

The landscape of the boxing world could have looked remarkably different after their controversial first fight in 2023.

We're talking, of course, about the infamous 'low blow' delivered by Dubois to Usyk in the 5th round of that bout in Poland.

The Briton's team, as well as numerous leading fighters and pundits, insisted that the shot was legal and Usyk should have been counted out, with Dubois declared world champion.

Instead, Usyk was given several minutes to recover, regained control of the contest, and eventually stopped Dubois in the 9th. The result stood, but the moment dominated the post-fight conversation.

Former world champion Carl Frampton was commentating live and among those to call it a 'legal shot'. Others pointed to Usyk's delayed reaction and the amount of time granted to the Ukrainian to recover, in what was essentially a home arena. For Dubois and his camp, the sense of injustice has never gone away.

It remains the only time Usyk has looked vulnerable at heavyweight. Even after the punch in question, DDD's body shots continued to trouble Usyk throughout the fight. Dubois believes he had him then, and believes he can do it again, even if the odds are against him.
