Ladbrokes previews the Premier League meeting between Brentford and Manchester United, with the latest odds, betting tips and predictions ahead of Saturday lunchtime's clash at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Both these sides find themselves in the bottom half of the table after five games, with Brentford in 17th after their defeat to rivals Fulham, and among the teams in the relegation battle. Man Utd narrowly avoided that last year, but are now 11th after last week's win over Chelsea.

Ladbrokes went down to Old Trafford to gauge the opinion of the United faithful on their under-pressure manager, who's among the favourites to be the next Premier League manager to leave their job.

This game sees the return of Bryan Mbeumo to west London, after his move from Brentford to Manchester United in the summer. Despite a tough start for his team, he has settled in well and looks lively, scoring twice in all competitions.

Mbeumo is averaging 3 shots per game and has landed a shot on target in four of his five league games. The Cameroon forward will be fired up against his former side, so we're backing him to get another shot on target here.

Jordan Henderson has quickly become a key player at Brentford, with his leadership skills crucial after the departure of Christian Norgaard to Arsenal. His continued inclusion in Thomas Tuchel's England squad speaks to those qualities.

The former Liverpool skipper picked up 11 bookings in all competitions for Ajax last season, but is yet to be shown a card this term. Against his former bitter rivals, and going directly up against Bruno Fernandes, we think this game could see Henderson's first booking of the season.

The Red Devils are yet to keep a clean sheet in all competitions this season, with their extra centre back failing to make the unit any more solid. The Gtech has not been a happy hunting ground for them, with Brentford twice putting four past them here.

The Bees forward line is in a period of transition under new manager Keith Andrews after the losses of Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, but there were encouraging signs in their 2-2 draw with Chelsea a fortnight ago. In Igor Thiago, Kevin Schade, Dango Ouattara and Mikkel Damsgaard, the west Londoners have plenty of attacking talent to keep them clear of the relegation battle.

With United possessing an expensive array of attackers themselves also including Benjamin Sesko and the returning Matheus Cunha, there should be enough chances for both teams. Neither has been too secure at the back either, so we reckon both teams will score.

Brentford are yet to lose at home to Manchester United since they arrived in the Premier League, winning two and drawing one of their three games. They have made another good start at home this campaign, picking up four points from games against Aston Villa and Chelsea.

Man Utd picked up a spirited 2-1 win over Chelsea last time out, but Ruben Amorim is yet to win back-to-back league games at United. They've picked up just one point from their three away games this season, and lost on penalties in the Carabao Cup to Grimsby. We think that infamous record will continue, with both sides settling for a point.
