Premier League 2025/26 predicted line-ups
Arsenal
Arsenal have made their eighth signing of an impressive transfer window on deadline day, adding Piero Hincapie to their list of recruits alongside Eberechi Eze, Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, Christhian Mosquera, Christian Norgaard, Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Gyokeres and Zubimendi are both already regular starters with Eze likely to follow suit, with the remaining arrivals providing healthy competition all across the pitch. Madueke looks poised to step in for the injured Bukayo Saka in the coming weeks.
Arsenal predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Odegaard, Eze; Gyokeres
Aston Villa
Aston Villa's transfer window looked to be heading for disaster during the closing days of the window after a period of few significant additions was followed by rumours of goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez looking to leave the club to join Manchester United.
Despite missing the Crystal Palace defeat, the move never materialised for 'Dibu' as United signed a different keeper, and Villa also managed to land Harvey Elliott and Jadon Sancho on loan on deadline day as well as the free signing of Victor Lindelof.
Evann Guessand and Marco Bizot are also handy additions and, perhaps aside from Jacob Ramsey's departure, they can be fairly satisfied with how things have turned out.
Aston Villa predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Mings, Maatsen; Kamara, Tielemans; Elliott, Rogers, Sancho; Watkins
Bournemouth
Bournemouth have lost Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, Illya Zabarnyi and Kepa this summer but have acted quick to replace the vacant keeper and left-back slot with Djordje Petrovic from Chelsea and Adrien Truffert from Rennes.
The Cherries, who we have tipped to push for Europe again in 2025/26, have acted quickly to replace the defensive gap by bringing in Bafode Diakite from Ligue 1 side Lille.
They have managed to secure the future of Antoine Semenyo, who will continue to play a key role in the attack alongside the likes of Justin Kluivert and Evanilson, with Amine Adli from Bayer Leverkusen a seemingly impressive addition.
Bournemouth predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Smith, Diakite, Senesi, Truffert; Cook, Scott; Semenyo, Adli, Kluivert; Evanilson
Brentford
Brentford have endured something of a turbulent summer, with manager Thomas Frank, captain Christian Norgaard and star player Bryan Mbeumo all departing the club.
Highly-rated, if untested, coach Keith Andrews has stepped up to become manager in challenging conditions, though Michael Kayode, Jordan Henderson and Caoimhin Kelleher all look like smart additions as they prepare to avoid a relegation battle.
Igor Thiago, Kevin Schade and new signings Dango Ouattara, Antoni Milambo and Reiss Nelson will have to step up to replace the goals of Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, who joined Manchester United and Newcastle respectively.
Brentford predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Kelleher; Kayode, Collins, Ajer, Hickey; Henderson, Jensen; Damsgaard, Ouattara, Schade; Thiago
Brighton
A number of players have left Brighton this summer - but that is nothing new for them with a number of promising youngsters also coming through the door at the Amex.
Joao Pedro, Pervis Estupinan, Simon Adingra, Valentin Barco and Evan Ferguson have all departed, with £30million Charalampos Kostoulas their biggest outlay alongside Maxim De Cuyper, Tom Watson, Diego Coppola and Oliver Boscagli coming in.
Carlos Baleba remains a Seagulls player despite seeming nailed on to depart this summer, with goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen also staying put.
Brighton predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Verbruggen; Wieffer, Van Hecke, Coppola, De Cuyper; Ayari, Baleba; Minteh, Rutter, Mitoma; Welbeck
Burnley
After securing an immediate return to the Premier League, Burnley will hope they can remain in the top flight this time around and have made several signings to help them do that.
Kyle Walker brings some much-needed experience, while Marcus Edwards and Jaidon Anthony will be tasked with providing the creative spark after making their moves to Turf Moor permanent, as will Jacob Bruun Larsen, who is back at Burnley after a loan spell during their last Premier League stint.
Armando Broja and Lesley Ugochukwu have come in from Chelsea, with Martin Dubravka replacing James Trafford in goal following his move to Manchester City.
Burnley predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Dubravka; Walker, Ekdal, Esteve, Hartman; Ugochukwu, Hannibal; Edwards, Bruun Larsen, Anthony; Broja
Chelsea
As ever, Chelsea have spent big in the transfer window and after the windfall generated by their Club World Cup triumph, that looks set to continue.
Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro will provide a new dimension in attack, while fellow striker arrival Liam Delap may be forced to settle for a place on the bench. Alejandro Garnacho could prove to be a good addition on the left, with Facundo Buonanotte bolstering their options further.
Jorrel Hato will slot in at centre-back following his move from Ajax, with Robert Sanchez hanging onto the No1 jersey.
Chelsea predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Sanchez; James, Chalobah, Hato, Cucurella; Caicedo, Enzo; Estevao, Palmer, Neto; Pedro
Crystal Palace
FA Cup winners Crystal Palace have begun the season with plenty of uncertainty over both their demotion from the Europa League, as well as losing Eberechi Eze.
Marc Guehi looked set to follow suit but his move to Liverpool collapsed on deadline day, a significant boost for Oliver Glasner, if not the Palace board with the club captain out of contract next summer.
The Eagles have replaced Eze with Yeremy Pino from Villarreal, with the Spaniard looking like an exciting addition to their frontline.
Defenders Jaydee Canvot, Chistantus Uche and Borna Sosa will compete for a place in the Palace back line.
Crystal Palace predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Henderson; Richards, Lacroix, Diomande; Munoz, Wharton, Doucoure, Mitchell; Sarr, Pino; Mateta
Everton
Everton have a familiar face in charge in David Moyes but much has changed elsewhere, with an exciting new-look squad and a brand new stadium to play in.
Jack Grealish has made an impressive start to life at Hill Dickinson Stadium, linking up well with Iliman Ndiaye and new signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall so far this season. Tyler Dibling has also arrived from Southampton, meaning the Toffees should be an exciting watch this season.
Everton predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Patterson, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Aznou; Garner, Dewsbury-Hall; Ndiaye, Dibling, Grealish; Barry
Fulham
It had been a fairly quiet summer for Fulham prior to deadline day but the signings of Brazilian winger Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk and Samuel Chukwueze on loan from AC Milan will bring some excitement to Craven Cottage once again.
That duo should go straight into Marco Silva's XI once ready but other than that, we are as we were at Fulham with goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte coming in as back-up to Bernd Leno.
Fulham predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Lukic; Chukwueze, Smith-Rowe, Kevin; Jimenez
Leeds
Leeds are another club who will try to break the promoted teams curse after storming to the Championship title last season.
Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, and Lucas Perri have all arrived, with defender James Justin and winger Noah Okafor also added.
Willy Gnonto will remain a key man in attack, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin will hope to stay clear of injuries and spearhead his new side's quest for the all-important goals.
Leeds predicted XI (4-3-3): Perri; Bogle, Bijol, Ampadu, Justin; Stach, Longstaff, Gruev; James, Nmecha, Gnonto
Liverpool
Liverpool's Premier League title defence has begun with a hugely impressive summer transfer window, with Arne Slot signing Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Hugo Ekitike, with a British-record move for Alexander Isak finally completed on deadline day.
Frimpong and Kerkez replace Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson as the club's new full-backs, with Mohamed Salah, Wirtz, Ekitike and Isak their exciting new front four.
Giovanni Leoni appears to be a signing for the future, with goalkeeper Freddie Woodman coming into fill their English quota.
Liverpool predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Frimpong, Guehi, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Gravenberch, Szoboszlai; Salah, Wirtz, Ekitike; Isak
Manchester City
Manchester City got lots of their business done prior to the start of the Club World Cup, with Rayan Cherki, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Ait-Nouri coming through the door to give the side a much-needed revamp.
The most change since then has been in the goalkeeping department, with the returning James Trafford replacing Ederson between the sticks - but that could now change with Champions League winner Gianluigi Donnarumma joining on deadline day.
Ederson has now left for Fenerbahce, joining a long list of other departures with Pep Guardiola now tasked with making his new-look side a dominant force once again.
Manchester City predicted XI (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Lewis, Dias, Gvardiol, Ait-Nouri; Rodri, Reijnders, Cherki; Foden, Haaland, Marmoush
Manchester United
After a disastrous 2024/25 campaign, Man Utd have chosen to get behind manager Ruben Amorim by strengthening in their attack with the signings of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
Their last piece of business before the window closed was to upgrade their goalkeeping department after a questionable start to the season by Altay Bayindir and Andre Onana, with Ruben Amorim hoping 22-year-old Senne Lammens will be the answer between the sticks.
The Red Devils may be left to rue a lack of additions in midfield, albeit they still have Kobbie Mainoo at the club despite reported requests to depart on loan.
Manchester United predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Onana, Yoro, De Ligt, Shaw; Diallo, Ugarte, Fernandes, Dorgu; Mbeumo, Cunha, Sesko
Newcastle
Newcastle have lost Alexander Isak but what has been a difficult transfer window may have actually turned out OK for Eddie Howe.
Isak's replacement has come in the form of Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart, while they also brought in Yoane Wissa on deadline day to give them a different option in the forward positions.
Jacob Ramsey also improves the quality of their midfield and attack, with Malick Thiaw and Aaron Ramsdale bolstering the defence and goalkeeping department.
Newcastle predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale; Trippier, Botman, Schar, Hall; Tonali, Guimaraes; Elanga, Wissa, Gordon; Woltemade
Nottingham Forest
Gibbs-White's new contract might be Nottingham Forest's best piece of business all summer as they look to prove last season's surprise success was no fluke.
The Tricky Trees have recruited striker Igor Jesus and Jair Cunha from Botafogo this summer, with Dan Ndoye, James McAtee, Omari Hutchinson, Arnaud Kalimuendo and Nicolo Savona coming into their forward line, providing plenty of quality and competition for places.
Douglas Luiz should eventually be a regular starter, while Oleksandr Zinchenko adds some experience and versatility after joining on loan from Arsenal on deadline day.
Predicted Nottingham Forest XI (4-2-3-1): Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Zinchenko; Luiz, Anderson; Ndoye, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood
Sunderland
Sunderland are back in the Premier League after eight years and have done their best to make sure they remain there with a hugely impressive summer transfer window.
After losing Jobe Bellingham early in the window, Habib Diarra, Simon Adingra, Chemsdine Talbi, Noah Sadiki and Reinildo Mandava have all arrived, with the signing of Granit Xhaka from Bayer Leverkusen another huge coup and Nordi Mukiele also joining from PSG.
The Black Cats have upgraded Anthony Patterson in goal with Robin Roefs, with versatile defender Lutsharel Geertruida their final signing on deadline day.
Sunderland predicted XI (4-3-3): Roefs; Mukiele, Ballard, Geertruida, Reinildo; Xhaka, Diarra, Sadiki; Talbi, Mayenda, Adingra
Tottenham
Tottenham are kicking off a new era under Thomas Frank as Europa League champions and, despite missing out on some high-profile targets, have made some strong signings over the summer.
Xavi Simons could turn out to be a great addition after missing out on Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze, with Joao Palinha already impressing in midfield and Mohammed Kudus also making a good start to life in North London.
Randal Kolo Muani will compete with Dominic Solanke up front, with Luka Vuskovic another option in defence.
Tottenham predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Palhinha, Bentancur, Kudus, Simons, Tel; Kolo Muani
West Ham
Graham Potter will be desperate to prove he can finally bring success to West Ham in his first full season in charge but losing Kudus to Spurs will not have helped his cause.
Still, star man and captain Jarrod Bowen is still in East London and capable of firing them back into the top half but the Hammers made some much-needed acquisitions before the window closed.
Matheus Fernandes and Soungoutou Magassa will come into the midfield, with Igor Julio a much-needed signing at centre-back.
West Ham XI (4-2-3-1): Areola; Walker-Peters, Todibo, Igor, Diouf; Ward-Prowse, Soucek; Bowen, Paqueta, Fernandes; Wilson
Wolves
Wolves will begin the season without Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri following their moves to Manchester United and Manchester City respectively, while they have made three additions so far.
Wide players Fer Lopez and Jhon Arias have come in, with Jorgen Strand Larsen making his switch to Molineux permanent after scoring 14 league goals last season.
Tolu Orokadare is another option up front after joining on deadline day, with Ladislav Krejci and Jackson Tchatchoua bolstering the defence.
Wolves predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Sa; Krejci, Agbadou, Toti; Tchatchoua, Andre, Joao Gomes, Wolfe; Lopez, Arias; Strand Larsen
