PSG vs Liverpool: Champions League preview, predictions & bet builder tips
Ladbrokes previews PSG vs Liverpool in the Champions League quarter-final first leg
PSG are tipped to win in Paris, putting one foot into the semi-final of the competition they won last year
Over 2.5 goals tipped to be scored, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia expected to have a shot on target.
Ladbrokes brings you an in-depth match preview for PSG vs Liverpool in the Champions League, including predictions, lineups and expert bet builder tips.

Liverpool completed a true smash and grab in Paris in the Champions League last season, beating PSG 1-0 thanks to heroics from Alisson Becker and a late Harvey Elliott goal. Neither will be lining up for the Reds in the quarter-final this year, with Alisson injured and Elliot on loan at Aston Villa.
Liverpool are also not the same side as they were this time last year. The last time Arne Slot lined up against PSG, his side were a few weeks away from becoming Premier League champions. This time though, they're fighting for a spot inside the top five.
However, wins against Real Madrid and Inter Milan in the Champions League show that, on their day, Liverpool can beat anyone, especially when playing in Europe.
With it all to play for, read on for our in-depth PSG vs Liverpool bet builder, and don't forget to check out our complete preview of every single Champions League quarter-final.

PSG vs Liverpool bet builder tips
PSG to win
The last time PSG hosted Liverpool in Paris, they lost the game 1-0, but those who watched it will tell you that the scoreline didn’t really tell the story of how the match played out.
Alisson was handed a 9.4 rating from SofaScore, with the Brazilian's showing in between the sticks widely regarded by some as one of the best from a keeper in the competition's history.
The ex-Roma keeper made nine saves across the course of the match, and we think Liverpool's defence is going to be tested in a similar manner in Paris this week. As such, coming off the back of a 4-0 away loss to Man City, Liverpool are tipped to lose their Champions League quarter-final first-leg tie against the reigning champions on April 8.
Over 2.5 goals to be scored
Liverpool's matches against PSG last year may have resulted in just two goals being scored, but in truth, the underlying stats suggest that the ball should have landed in the back of the net a lot more than that.
Despite one goal being scored in each game between the two sides, an xG of over three was generated in each game. Without some incredible last-ditch defending and goalkeeping heroics, more goals would have been scored.
That, coupled with the fact that only one of PSG's last ten games have had fewer than three goals scored, is why we're tipping over 2.5 goals as part of our bet builder.
Alexis Mac Allister to commit two or more fouls
Alexis Mac Allister is averaging just over a foul a game in the Champions League for Liverpool this season and tends to struggle in games where the opposition midfield presses aggressively.
That's exactly how PSG play, so we're expecting the Argentinian to be involved heavily, and potentially commit a fair few fouls, when PSG host Liverpool in Paris on April 8.
The last time the two sides met, Mac Allister committed three fouls, and we're tipping him to commit at least two this week in the Champions League.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to have one or more shots on target
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is one of the most exciting wingers in the world, and Liverpool will be regretting not entering the race to sign the Georgian attacker when he left Napoli in January 2025.
Kvaratskhelia had ten shots across his two matches against Liverpool last year, with five of them ending up on target. It's clear that the Reds struggled to contain the PSG man, and we don't think they'll have found a fix by the time the two sides meet this week.
He may not score, but for the final leg of our PSG vs Liverpool bet builder, we're tipping Kvaratskhelia to register at least one shot on target.
