PSG vs Chelsea bet builder tips
PSG to win
PSG defeated three English teams in the knockout stages en route to their long-awaited first Champions League trophy, so will fancy their chances again having been drawn against Chelsea. However, the reigning European champions haven't been as all-conquering in 2025/26. After finishing 11th in the league phase of the Champions League, they scraped past Monaco 5-4 on aggregate in the playoffs, despite their Ligue 1 rivals being reduced to ten men in both legs. In their last home game - also against Monaco - they suffered a shock 3-1 defeat, which cut their gap at the top of the table to just one point.
Chelsea have found some form under Liam Rosenior, losing just twice since he took charge, with both of those defeats to Premier League leaders Arsenal. The Blues are 5th in the table after an impressive 4-1 win at Aston Villa, but came dangerously close to being knocked out of the FA Cup by Wrexham, eventually winning 4-2 in extra-time. The West London side finished 6th in the league phase, but only picked up one win away from home.
We reckon that the Parisians will rise to the occasion at home in the first-leg, and it's worth remembering that they also underwhelmed in the league phase last season, finishing 15th, and we all know how that turned out. Chelsea will be full of confidence after their 3-0 victory last summer in the USA, but we think Luis Enrique's side will emerge with a narrow 2-1 first-leg victory.
Both teams to score
To go with our 2-1 prediction, for the next selection in our PSG vs Chelsea bet builder we'll pick both teams to score. Both teams have scored in all of Chelsea's away games in the Champions League in the season, while eight of PSG's ten matches in Europe this term have seen both teams get on the scoresheet. With plenty of attacking firepower on display for each side, we think there's a good chance that both teams find the back of the net.
Joao Pedro 1+ shots on target
No player has benefited more from Liam Rosenior's arrival at Chelsea than Joao Pedro. The Brazilian has been in red hot form since the managerial change and is enjoying the best spell of his Chelsea career.
Pedro now has eighteen goals and nine assists in all competitions this season after his superb hat-trick against Aston Villa in his previous start. He also scored a crucial brace away to Napoli on the final matchday of the league phase, turning a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 victory and securing Chelsea a top eight finish.
The versatile Brazilian forward continues to pop up in dangerous areas, registering at least one shot on target in four of his last five games, and we're backing him to make an impact here by testing the keeper at least once again.
Enzo Fernandez to get booked
Chelsea’s discipline has been an ongoing issue this season and it has cost them at key moments across multiple competitions. The Blues have collected nine red cards in all competitions, the highest total among Premier League clubs, which highlights a recurring problem with a young squad's ability to keep their composure in high intensity games.
Enzo Fernandez has been one of Chelsea’s standout performers this season, contributing eleven goals and five assists from a more advanced midfield role, but his aggressive style means he is rarely far from the referee’s notebook. The Argentine has picked up eleven yellow cards in all competitions, underlining how often he finds himself involved in the heat of the battle.
He has also been booked in each of his last two away games at Arsenal and Aston Villa, and a demanding trip to Paris looks likely to present another tough midfield contest. With Fernandez often tasked with breaking up opposition attacks and pressing high up the pitch, he looks a strong candidate to go into the book again here.
