Ladbrokes' tips - Saturday, October 3, 2026: Gordon scores for England but SWP stumbles on Strictly

England's third Nations League clash is against familiar opponents as they lock horns with Croatia once again in Zagreb. The duo faced off only a few months ago in their World Cup opener, with England prevailing 4-2, and we're expecting the Three Lions to be the victors once again despite being away from home.

Few England players are in better form for their country right now than Anthony Gordon, having scored in each of their two games against Spain and Czechia during this international camp. The Barcelona forward has made the left side of England's attack his own, dancing his way past opponents with ease on multiple occasions, and we believe he'll grab another on Saturday evening.

Shaun Wright-Phillips had 36 caps for England as a player but he has now the pitch for the dancefloor as he takes part in this series of Strictly Come Dancing, but the latest odds suggest his time on the hit BBC show could be short lived after a tough first week.

The former Chelsea and Manchester City winger, who is the outsider to win the show at a huge 100/1, finished joint-bottom of the leaderboard with his partner Alexis Warr and is the favourite to be the first eliminated this weekend.
