Sean Levey Saturday rides schedule
Inis Mor - Longchamp - 2.50 race odds
King Of Cities - Longchamp - 4.35 race odds
2.50 - Arqana Series - Haras de Bouquetot Criterium d'Automne (Conditions) (2yo) (Grande Course) (Turf) - Inis Mor
We start with Inis Mor for David Menuisier, she's a filly who has won twice at Newmarket, so her form looks very good going into this. Look, it's a big field and she's coming up against a lot of colts, and unexposed horses who are taking their chance for the big pot. At the same time, I wouldn't trade her for anything else in the race; I think she's a really nice filly who has done absolutely nothing wrong.
You know, she won nicely first time out and then carried a penalty and beat tough opponents on her second start. She's a filly with scope and potential to be anything, really. Hopefully she can go out there and run a very big race.
4.35 - Qatar Prix Dollar (Group 2) (3yo+) (Grande Course: 2nd Post) (Turf) - King Of Cities
King Of Cities is in great form, and we've aimed for this race since his win in York last month, where he beat Boiling Point, who has since gone on to win the Cambridgeshire off of top weight. My lad is going into this in really good form; the track will definitely suit, the trip is idea, and the draw is spot on. He's in a really good place after his win last time out.
Levey's thoughts on the Arc de Triomphe
For me, it's hard to look away from Minnie Hauk in the Arc on Sunday. She's a beautiful horse who always catches the eye when she gets into her rhthym and moves through her races, showing her turn of foot. On good ground, and with her draw, she'll be hard to beat, considering she's so straightforward and doesn't have to worry about sitting in the field and running in the traffic.
The Japanese horse [Byzantine Dream] is interesting; they target this race with solid contenders and he's a solid horse, so he's definitely not to be taken lightly.
Aventure is a very versatile horse who has done little wrong, he knows the track and is in very good form, but he's probably just been let down a little bit by his draw; it could be difficult for him from that position.
If there's rain to come and the ground softens, then I think that would really suit Kalpana very much so... she'd always have each-way claims, and I suspect they'd shorten up if the ground softens.
