Sean Levey Saturday rides schedule
Lebron Power - Newbury - 1.25 race odds
Senorita Vega - Newbury - 2.00 race odds
Annastarzy - Newbury - 2.34 race odds
Miss Wong - Newbury - 3.45 race odds
Alcaraz - Newbury - 4.50 race odds
1.25 - Hazell & Jefferies Nursery Handicap - Lebron Power
Lebron Power wasn't able to get black-typed last time out, but she's stepping back into nursery company here and should be competitive, especially off the back of her run at Sandown under similar conditions where she got her head in front. She is carrying top weight in what looks like a competitive race, so we do have to think about that, but she should still find herself very competitive.
2.00 - D&H Racing Stakes (Registered As The Radley Stakes) (Listed Race) (Fillies) - Senorita Vega
Senorita Vega is another filly who actually did get black-typed last time at Newbury, running a very solid race in listed company. She's back in listed company again and I'd imagine this'll be ground she'll like. She's also won on this track before, so I'd see her putting her head in front here, hopefully. I'd probably say she's my best chance of the day, actually.
2.34 - EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes (GBB/GBBPlus Race) (Div I) - Annastarzy
Annastarzy is a nice filly who has ran promisingly on her last two outings. She's doing things nicely at home and should run well here, although I think there's a slight question mark over the ground.
3.45 - St Simon Stakes (Group 3) - Miss Wong
Miss Wong runs in a Group 3 here so is going to have to find a lot of improvement if she's to challenge the frontrunners in this one. She's the outsider of the field, but looking at her form, she's ran really well and she's won on soft ground before, so that should definitely help and put her in the mix.
4.50 - Tony Penny 50th Birthday Handicap (GBBPlus Race) - Alcaraz
We finish on Saturday with Alcaraz, who was unlucky to get beat last time out on this track. It's the same trip for him here, and he's got plenty of stamina which is going to help with the conditions. He's also a very consistent horse, if you look at his form, so I'd like to think he's got a chance here.
