Sean Levey Saturday rides schedule

2.25 – Tattersalls Sceptre Sessions Cheveley Park Stakes (Group 1) (Fillies) – Orion’s Belt

Orion’s Belt is stepping up drastically in taking on a Group 1 on the back of placing in a listed race, so she’s going to have to find a lot of improvement, no doubt, in what’s going to be a very competitive race.

She’s a nice filly, and she’s already got herself some black type this year. But it’s going to be a very competitive race.

3.40 – bet365 Cambridgeshire (Heritage Handicap) – Tribal Chief

Tribal Chief won really nicely last time, and this has been his main goal for the year. He’s arriving to this one well-treated and trained by David Menuisier, who’s in good form. The only downside is that you could argue he could find better form with cut in the ground. But unusually for this time of year, it’s been very dry, and at Newmarket the ground is good-to-firm. He has won on that ground before, so it’s not a hindrance. I’m very much looking forward to this one.

Luckydip

4.45 – Blandford Bloodstock Maiden Fillies' Stakes – Mojito

We thought Mojito was a nice filly at home, and she ran well both times in defeat. But she is going to have to pull things together if she’s going to get her head in front.
