2026 Spanish Grand Prix: Race preview, tips & favourites

With last weekend's victory taking him 66 points clear at the top of the Drivers' Standings, Kimi Antonelli is once again priced as the bookies' favourite heading into the Spanish Grand Prix weekend, with the Italian edging ever-closer to a maiden World Championship title - which he is still the resounding favourite to win.

Reigning champion Lando Norris is priced as the second-favourite according to Ladbrokes' latest Spanish GP odds, while Mercedes man George Russell is third-favourite to come out on top, despite only winning one race since the opening weekend. The pre-season favourite for world glory now knows he needs to hit a run of real form if he wants to oust his teenage teammate from top spot.

Charles Leclerc - off the back of his huge crash last week - and Lewis Hamilton are priced alongside Russell as the best of the rest, before a small jump takes us to Max Verstappen - who got his third podium-finish in four races in Monza. The Dutchman offers real value at 11/1 at the time of writing, alongside McLaren's Oscar Piastri, who has incredibly only featured on one podium all season.

We backed Kimi Antonelli last week despite limited recent wins, and were vindicated when the youngster won by over three seconds in Monza, so it seems reckless to remove him from our #1 spot now. Max Verstappen is showing his class, so we're tipping him for another podium, with Charles Leclerc having a slower week after last weekend's disaster.
