2025 Sports Personality of the Year odds

As we enter the final stretch of 2025, Ladbrokes looks at the 2025 Sports Personality of the Year odds, with Chloe Kelly still the favourite.

Off the back of completing the Career Grand Slam by winning the Masters in April, Rory McIlroy had become the front-runner for this year's award, but Euros glory for the Lionesses has seen Chloe Kelly surge out in front - ahead of teammate Hannah Hampton, darts sensation Luke Littler and F1's Lando Norris in the bookies' eyes.

After scoring the winning penalty to secure England their second consecutive Euros trophy, Chloe Kelly's odds to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year in December 2025 have been slashed, and she has now edged ahead of Rory McIlroy in what has been a historic year for golf - with a Ryder Cup victory added to the Irishman's CV in September.

Hannah Hampton has also emerged as a contender after her penalty shootout heroics, knocking Luke Littler down in the bookies' standings.

Littler's chances have been helped by the fact that he won the PDC World Darts Championship final in January, with the teenager becoming the youngest winner of the tournament in history. He continued his dominance by picking up the World Matchplay in July, and also dominated the World Grand Prix in October.

Also among the favourites with odds of 50/1 or shorter are Ellie Kildunne - who helped England to Women's Rugby World Cup glory - and Lucy Bronze, but it's Kelly who leads the way.

After an incredible last 18 months, and having won the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship, the bookies initially tipped Luke Littler for Sports Personality of the Year this year, but Rory McIlroy's Major victory and the Lionesses' Euros heroics have made things very interesting - particularly for Chloe Kelly.

Below are some of the names running to win this year's Sports Personality of the Year, with Kelly leading the pack.

Remember, a lot could change between now and the SPOTY awards ceremony in December, with a number of darts tournaments still to come and the F1 World Championship still very much undecided.
