2025 Sports Personality of the Year odds

As we enter the final stretch of 2025, Ladbrokes looks at the 2025 Sports Personality of the Year odds, with Rory McIlroy the red-hot favourite.

Off the back of completing the Career Grand Slam by winning the Masters in April, Rory McIlroy initially became the front-runner for this year's award, before Euros glory for the Lionesses saw Chloe Kelly surge out in front - but the Irishman has recently snatched back his place at the top of the bookies' odds.

With a Ryder Cup victory added to McIlroy's CV in September, the golf legend has continued to stake his claim for the Sports Personality of the Year Award, ahead of the likes of Kelly, F1 World Championship winner Lando Norris, and Luke Littler. Chloe Kelly's winning penalty earned the Lionesses back-to-back Euros in the summer, and she is still in with an excellent chance of being crowned - but the footballer is no longer the favourite.

In what is turning into a stunning year for the Brits, Lando Norris won his first-ever F1 World Championship trophy, while Luke Littler has become the official world number one in darts, with wins at the PDC World Darts Championship final - where he became the youngest winner of the tournament in history - the World Matchplay, the World Grand Prix, and the Grand Slam of Darts.

Also among the favourites are Ellie Kildunne - who helped England win the Women's Rugby World Cup - and Lionesses goalkeeper Hannah Hampton.
