  • Jarrod Bowen to test Vicario in the Tottenham goal

  • Spurs backed to win for the third time in four Premier League games

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League match between West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, Ladbrokes shares its expert betting tips, with Spurs backed to win.

Thomas Frank's Spurs career has got off to an excellent start, winning two of his opening three games this season - including a memorable victory away at Man City - but defeat to Bournemouth before the international break was definitely a reality check.

As they travel to the London Stadium to face an under-pressure Graham Potter and West Ham, Spurs will be confident of picking up another three points and getting their season back on track - but how will they do it? Below are Ladbrokes' top betting tips for West Ham vs Spurs, featuring both goalscorer and card markets.

West Ham vs Spurs: Betting tips & predictions

Mohammed Kudus to score anytime

Returning to the London Stadium as an opposition player for the first time since his summer move across the capital, Mohammed Kudus will be desperate to show West Ham fans what they're missing - and we're backing him to grab his first Spurs goal here.

Kudus already has a couple of assists to his name this season, playing a pivotal role in Tottenham's opening-day victory over Burnley, but is yet to find the net for his new side. He's not prolific, only scoring five goals last season, but Kudus will be a constant threat down the Spurs right-hand side, and will surely get the chances to break his duck.

For Hammers fans, this will feel inevitable, and while El Hadji Malick Diouf has made a bright start to his Premier League career, he faces a very tricky winger here - who could be too tough to stop.

Djed Spence to be shown a card

Djed Spence has proven himself as a very solid Premier League full back so far this season, even earning his first England cap, but with Jarrod Bowen looking to skip round him on Saturday, we predict that the 25-year-old will end up in referee Jarred Gillett's book.

Spence has already picked up one yellow card for a robust challenge this season, and while he isn't someone who repeatedly flies into challenges, we do think he could struggle to cope with the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta - whose technical ability could easily lure him in.

Spence is an excellent attacking option for Spurs, and will always look to get forward, but West Ham do offer a real threat on the counter. With that in mind, along with the fact that he will be directly up against Bowen, we're backing the full back to be carded.

Jarrod Bowen to have 2+ shots on target

It's easy to forget that Spurs finished 17th last season, conceding 65 goals and only surviving the drop because the three promoted teams were so far off the pace - and while they have been defensively sound so far this term, they will still have plenty of vulnerabilities that West Ham can exploit.

One of those vulnerabilities has already been mentioned above, with such attacking full backs leaving space in behind, and we think Jarrod Bowen could relish that kind of opportunity, testing Vicario a couple of times in the Spurs goal.

The England winger has long been West Ham's talisman, and got the ball rolling with the first goal in their eye-catching win at Nottingham Forest a couple of weeks ago, so when there's a West Ham chance, it often falls to the skipper. With that in mind, we're backing Bowen to have 2+ shots on target this weekend, with the hopes of all Hammers fans on his shoulders.

Spurs to win

To wrap up our West Ham vs Spurs betting tips & predictions, we're backing Spurs to get their third win in four games at the start of this 2025/26 Premier League season.

Thomas Frank's side have won their only away game so far this season - beating Man City - and with West Ham's dreadful home form, there won't be any doubt in the away dressing room that they can pick up all three points.

The Hammers defence is leaky, with eight goals conceded already, and as Spurs gear up for their first Champions League tie of the season, the Lilywhites will be keen to pick up some momentum to carry into midweek. We're not watching the Spurs of last season - and even they got a point in this fixture - so we're tipping an away win.
