A clash between two West Midlands rivals kicks off the Premier League weekend on Friday night as Wolves host Aston Villa at Molineux.

These two's seasons could hardly have been different, with Wolves bottom of the table and heading for relegation while Villa fly high in third place after a hugely impressive campaign.

That said, Molineux has not been a happy hunting ground for Villa in recent years, winning just once in their last eight visits, while their form in the league has stuttered slightly having won just two of their last seven games. Villa's forwards aren't exactly firing on all cylinders as it stands and, with Wolves likely to sit in deep against their rivals, they may be forced to try their luck from distance - just as they have done to great success throughout the season.

No team has scored more goals outside the box than Villa's 13 this season, with Matty Cash responsible for two of those. The right-back has three goals overall this season and is usually good value to try his luck at least once a game. With this set to be a cagey game, we think Villa's No2 is a smart pick to test Jose Sa with an effort on target.

Yerson Mosquera is one of three Wolves players on eight yellow cards or more in the Premier League this season and with the bottom side looking to make it uncomfortable for their West Midlands rivals, the centre-back may find himself in the referee's book once again.

With players like Morgan Rogers, Emiliano Buendia and Jadon Sancho set to drift into the left-hand channel, Mosquera is set to be busy in his usual position on the right of a three-man defence, so expect the Colombian to be in for a busy evening.

Wolves' last home game was a thrilling 2-2 draw with leaders Arsenal but we are expecting a much tighter game between these two rivals, with a goal either way winning it.
