More than a month of thrilling Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 action concludes this weekend with the final between England and Canada.

The Red Roses have lived up to their billing as overwhelming favourites for glory on home soil but know they will face a huge challenge in the final against Canada, who dispatched defending champions New Zealand in the semi-finals.

England were favourites before the action started and their performances on home soil have done little to change that, storming through the pool stage before dispatching Scotland 40-8 in the quarter-finals.

The Red Roses secured their place in the final with a 35-17 victory over France and are 2/7 favourites to beat Canada in Saturday's final.

At the time of writing, England are priced at 1/5 to lift the trophy.

As the second-ranked team in the world, Canada were always England's biggest threat on paper but their semi-final win over New Zealand saw them prove their credentials when it matters.

Unlike their five-time winning opponents on Saturday, Canada have never won the Women's Rugby World Cup, with a defeat to England in 2014's showpiece the closest they have gone.

The Canadians have improved since then and certainly won't roll over for the hosts.
