Crazy Time Review

The idea of having bonus games within a game isn’t new. Many providers have tried this approach, but none have used it as successfully as Evolution in Crazy Time. Considered as one of the pillars of the game show genre, it’s an integral part of every casino games collection. But what exactly makes this live game show so fun to play? Is it the extraordinary studio setting or multiple creative bonuses?

Like with every mint live casino game, there’s no single answer to that question. So, we decided it was high time for a Crazy Time review in order to get to the bottom of things. Continue reading to learn how to play at Crazy Time tables at Ladbrokes casino. We’ll touch upon the rules, bonus games, graphics, and more.

Game Design and Interface

Evolution’s Crazy Time takes place in an elaborately designed studio. It’s reminiscent of flashy game shows from the 1980s, with a wacky twist. Even though it’s an “in your face” design, it works and creates a chaotic but lovely environment. While not being a VR live casino game per se, the combination of studio design and animations gives it an AR-like feeling. In addition, charismatic presenters handle both the main game and the bonus games.

Interface-wise, Crazy Time is similar to Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt. The bet spots are coloured rectangles, which correspond to different wheel parts. Below this area, there’s a half-circle with different chip options. These, of course, depend on the exact bet limits at each table. In addition, players can view the last 21 results on the lower right side. The stream takes up most of the screen, creating a stunning visual experience.

Sounds are one of the most underrated aspects of Crazy Time. Whether it’s the wheel spinning or one of the bonus games unfolding, there’s a sound effect for everything. Coupled with the animations we’ve mentioned previously, it’s safe to say Crazy Time is one of the most immersive live casino games out there.

How to Play Crazy Time

This is one of those rare cases when a live show successfully balances fun and ease of use. To start playing, choose a chip size. Then, there will be a choice of eight different spots on the Money Wheel.

Bonus bet spots are the rarest, while 1 and 2 are the most frequent. After the betting time is over, the presenter spins the wheel and activates the Top Slot. The Top Slot then randomly selects a multiplier and a spot to apply it. Sometimes, the two symbols won’t align, and the round will proceed without a multiplier.

There’s a single flapper which determines the winning number. If there’s a bet placed on that particular number, the game will automatically pay according to the payout rates. Multipliers are included if the bet, the Top Slot, and the flapper align on the same spot.

If you bet on a Bonus bet spot and the flapper stops on it, the game will switch to an animated environment. These Bonus Games also have their own bonuses, which multiply with the ones from the Money Wheel. Every player can watch the Bonus Game unfold, but only those who’ve bet on it can partake.

Extra Features

Expectedly, the bonus bet spots are the talk of the town. As we’ve already mentioned, they allow you to participate in a Bonus Game. There are four of them, and each has a unique dynamic. Remember - it’s only possible to play the Bonus Game if you’ve placed a bet on it. So here are the four available options:

Crazy Time

Set in a completely virtual world, Crazy Time can feature one out of four possible wheels. Some have more DOUBLE or TRIPLE segments, which multiply all the other parts and cause a respin. Others might feature higher multipliers. In any case, the wheel has three flappers with 64 segments in play, and players get to choose which one they bet on. As multipliers can stack, the maximum is 20,000x.

Coin Flip

The Crazy Time presenter activates a mechanical coin flipper. Having a blue side and a red side, the coin gets assigned different multipliers for each one. Whichever side comes up on top is multiplied by the stake. If the winning number is low, a Rescue Flip ensues.

Pachinko

A puck is dropped down a wall full of obstacles. Below these obstacles are 16 drops zones, each featuring a multiplier. Depending on how the puck bounces around the wall, it will land in one of the zones. The number from the zone will then be multiplied by the player’s stake. 2x, 3x, or 4x may result in a Rescue Drop.

Cash Hunt

This Crazy Time bonus game is a bit easier. It’s almost like Minesweeper. Players just have to select one of the random multipliers on the board. There’s a total of 108. They’re all covered by symbols, which get uncovered after every player chooses a spot.

Summary

Evolution already dominated the live game show market, but they’ve outdone themselves with Crazy Time. Built upon the structure of Dream Catcher, it stretches the limits of what online casino games can be. Not only is it incredibly exciting, but it’s also easy to play. It’s possible to bet on the primary segments, but the real fun lies in the Bonus Games.

Crazy Time, Coin Flip, Pachinko, and Cash Hunt are indeed a fantastic four. Each game has its own unique style and multiple opportunities to layer bonuses. On top of that, the developers also included help systems, such as Rescue Flip and Rescue Drop. All of this equates to a game that can keep you occupied for a long time. So, make sure you don’t miss Crazy Time at Ladbrokes casino!
