Ladbrokes explores the Golden Glove odds for the best goalkeeper at the 2026 World Cup
Mike Maignan, Emiliano Martinez and Unai Simon lead the market for the award
Alisson, Jordan Pickford and Diogo Costa have all been given a chance by Ladbrokes bookies

With the 2026 World Cup fast approaching, Ladbrokes brings you the latest Golden Glove odds for the best-performing goalkeeper in the tournament this summer.
Mike Maignan, who is first choice for joint-favourites France, currently leads the market as it stands, with 2022 Golden Glove winner Emiliano Martinez second favourite to win it again ahead of Spain's Unai Simon in third.
With France, alongside Spain, tipped as the side most likely to go the distance in North America, it is no surprise to see Maignan leading the betting at 9/2.
Holders Argentina are fourth in the outright market but charismatic stopper Martinez is second for the Golden Glove at 5/1 after his memorable performances in Qatar to help Lionel Messi and Co lift the trophy.
The Aston Villa goalkeeper is just ahead of Spain's Simon at 11/2. The Euro 2024 winner's odds may be longer than those two due to there still being some debate over whether he will keep the No1 jersey over Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya, who has just picked up the Premier League Golden Glove and won the title.
Unlike the Premier League's award, the World Cup Golden Glove is given to the best-performing goalkeeper, rather than the one who keeps the most clean sheets, making it a competitive market with plenty of other contenders.
That means the likes of Alisson (6/1), Jordan Pickford (8/1) and Diogo Costa (10/1) may all have a decent chance of scooping up the award, although they will need Brazil, England and Portugal to enjoy deep runs in the competition.
The aforementioned Raya comes next in the market at 12/1, though those odds will likely grow if he starts on the bench for Spain's opening game against Cape Verde.
The same can be said for Brazil stopper Ederson (25/1), while Manuel Neuer is level in the market with Germany team-mate Oliver Baumann at 16/1 after the 40-year-old's shock inclusion in their 26-man World Cup squad.
Belgium and the Netherlands are both among the outsiders to win the World Cup and that is reflected by Thibaut Courtois and Bart Verbruggen's inclusion at 20/1 and 25/1 respectively.
