Nicolas Jackson put in a superb goalscoring display at Spurs prior to the international break and has since scored for Senegal as well as claiming an assist. The former Chelsea man is growing into the role as Villa's leading man, having two shots on target and six shots overall against Spurs and we're tipping him for another two at home.
Igor Thiago also opened his account for the league season before the international break in an eye-catching 3-0 win over Chelsea. The Brazilian scored 22 goals in the top flight last season and has averaged 0.8 goals per game. With Villa's backline not completely settled, there should be chances for Brentford's most dangerous attackers to test Zion Suzuki.
That is why we've also backed Kevin Schade for a shot on target in this game in the West Midlands. The German forward has made a great start to the season with three goals in five games and has averaged 1.2 efforts on goal per match.
This looks like a game where both teams find the net. Villa will be buoyed by their three goals at Spurs, which is the third time in four games they have managed that number of goals in a game, while they also notched the same amount in a friendly against Sevilla. Brentford, meanwhile, have scored in all five of their league games this season.
