Venue: The AMEX
Our predictions for Brighton vs Bournemouth
Our prediction: Brighton & Hove Albion 2-2 Bournemouth
A really entertaining clash should be in store at the AMEX on Monday night, with both Brighton and Bournemouth looking to reignite their European charges. The Cherries took the points back in September, but they haven't won away at Brighton since 2019, and come into this one with just one win from their last 12. Brighton's form isn't much better, with one league victory in eight games, so as two stuttering sides go head-to-head, we're predicting a score draw.

Danny Welbeck to score anytime
Danny Welbeck's fine season continued with the winner at Old Trafford in Brighton's FA Cup victory last weekend, and as he lines up against a porous Bournemouth defence who have conceded 11 goals in their last four Premier League games, we're backing the veteran striker to add to his tally on Monday night.
Welbeck scored the winner in this exact fixture last season, and with eight Premier League goals to his name already this term, he's well on track to hit double figures in a league campaign for just the second time in his career. The 42-time England international has scored more than 25% of his team's goals this season, and if he continues to find himself on the end of chances created by the likes of Kaoru Mitoma and Yankuba Minteh, Brighton have every chance of climbing up the table.
We're tipping Danny Welbeck to grab a goal on Monday night, setting the tone for what should be a game full of attacking quality.
Both teams to score at the AMEX
With the bottom half's two highest scoring sides going head-to-head at the AMEX, we're anticipating something of a goal-fest on the south coast, with both teams scoring in a captivating affair.
Five clean sheets apiece for Brighton and Bournemouth really do tell the story, with the two teams consistently struggling to keep their opponents at bay, so expect both sides to create a host of chances on Monday night. Bournemouth have scored and conceded in each of their last six Premier League matches, and despite losing star man Antoine Semenyo to Manchester City, they still possess a lot of threat in the final third - as do Brighton, which makes for an intriguing matchup.
We're backing BTTS in this one, with our experts expecting the frontlines to come out on top.
Alex Jimenez to be shown a card
Brighton and Bournemouth are two of only three sides to have picked up more than 50 yellow cards in the 2025/26 Premier League season so far, so dipping into the cards markets seems appropriate. We're singling out Bournemouth defender Alex Jimenez this week, with the Spaniard already having five bookings to his name this term, and Ladbrokes is backing him to be shown another card on Monday night.
Coming up against Kaoru Mitoma is a tricky task for any full-back, but with the Japanese international scoring five goals in six games against the Cherries, Jimenez will need to be on even higher alert - and we think he could be caught out on a couple of occasions. His bookings tend to come for mistimed tackles, and as Mitoma averages almost two successful dribbles per 90, the Bournemouth right back is in for a difficult night. He even managed to get booked in the reverse fixture despite only coming on in the 87th minute, so he's definitely not shy in the tackle.
With that in mind, we're tipping Alex Jimenez to be shown a card by referee Paul Tierney.
Brighton and Bournemouth to share the points
Rounding off our Brighton vs Bournemouth bet builder, we're predicting a draw on the south coast, with neither side getting over the line on an end-to-end evening.
As both teams struggle for form and view this as an opportunity to climb the table, it would be a surprise to see either side hold back at the AMEX, with nothing to lose for anyone. Just three points separate Brighton and Bournemouth ahead of kick-off, and with so many Premier League games left to play, both clubs will still have their sights set on a European spot this season - but form needs to pick up soon. Two of the league's youngest managers go toe-to-toe on the touchline, and under the lights in Sussex, we don't think there'll be anything to separate them.
We're backing a draw, which wouldn't be the best result for either team to escape the mid-table melee.
