Harry Kane is aging like a fine wine and continues to reach new heights for Bayern Munich and England. His goal in Bayern's 6-2 win over Freiburg at the weekend took him to 24 goals in 18 games in all competitions. The England skipper comes up against one of his favourite opponents - no player has bagged more than his 14 goals in North London derbies, and he also scored in the away leg of the Bavarians quarter-final victory in 2023/24. We think there's a good chance Kane gets at least one shot on target here.

Eberechi Eze truly arrived as an Arsenal player with his stunning hat-trick in the derby, but there is still no doubting who Mikel Arteta's talisman is. Saka's consistency makes him truly world class and the England winger has had at least one shot on target in every Champions League game he's played in this season, scoring twice. He's averaging 1.58 shots on target per game in all competitions, so we reckon he'll land another one here.

Arsenal are yet to concede a goal in the Champions League this season, but will be missing Gabriel again after he picked up a thigh injury on international duty. That's not ideal considering they're going up against the most fearsome attack in Europe this season, with Bayern plundering a remarkable 3.7 goals per game in the Bundesliga and 3.5 goals per game in the Champions League. The Gunners will be full of confidence after putting four past their fierce rivals, and also scored four in their last European outing at the Emirates in an impressive win over Atletico Madrid. Both teams have had a perfect start to their Champions League campaigns, with Bayern only above Arsenal on goals scored at the top of the league phase table. The German champions pulled off an eye-catching 2-1 away win at holders PSG, so will have no fear and fully back themselves heading to the Emirates, though the atmosphere should be rocking at a club where the mood is buoyant with excitement.

Bayern will be missing Luis Diaz through suspension and Jamal Musiala is a long-term absentee, while in better news for Arsenal on the injury front, Martin Odegaard and Viktor Gyokeres could be nearing a return. In a meeting that no one would be surprised to see repeated later in the competition, we think these two high-flyers will cancel each other out and take a share of the spoils.
