Ladbrokes share predictions for Chelsea vs Hull City in the Premier League
Chelsea predicted to win 3-0, with Joao Pedro having two shots on target
Cole Palmer also tipped for two efforts on target, with Regan Slater picking up a card

Not many people gave Hull a chance of staying up before a ball was kicked this season, but as the only Premier League team yet to concede a goal, the Tigers travel to Stamford Bridge full of confidence - however, Xabi Alonso's eye-catching Chelsea undoubtedly present their toughest test so far.
The Blues are the league's top scorers with eight in their opening three games, and hit Leeds for six in a midweek Carabao Cup thriller, so they're understandably priced as clear favourites to inflict the first defeat of the season on Sergej Jakirovic's side, with the visitors coming up against one of the country's most fearsome frontlines.

After sitting out Chelsea's 6-3 win over Leeds in the week, Joao Pedro comes into this Premier League clash fresh and ready to fire, and having already bagged two league goals this term, we're expecting another dangerous display from the Brazilian - so we're tipping two shots on target. Pedro is averaging one SOT per 90 this season, and with Hull goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis being forced into three saves a game, we're backing the Blues number nine to get a few chances here - testing the Tigers shot-stopper a couple of times.
Cole Palmer's importance to this Chelsea team couldn't have been much more evident on Wednesday night, and having come off the bench to score twice in the Carabao Cup, we're tipping him to continue his impactful form this weekend with at least two efforts on target. The Englishman has started the 2026/27 campaign like a man on a mission after missing out on the World Cup squad, and as he arrives with an average of just under two shots on target per 90 in the Premier League, the Hull defence could be in for a brutal afternoon at Stamford Bridge.
Regan Slater is a busy man in the Hull City midfield, covering almost 12km per game and averaging more than six defensive contributions per 90 - but while his energy will be crucial for his side at Stamford Bridge, we're tipping him to overstep the mark. The 26-year-old is committing well over a foul per game on average, and picked up a booking in Hull's only other away game this season when the Tigers snatched a win at Coventry, so as he looks to disrupt any Blues rhythm, Slater seems a smart pick for a card.
Despite Hull actually starting the day a point and a place ahead of their hosts, it's Chelsea who arrive as overwhelming favourites to take all three points from this one, and our experts are backing the Blues to prove exactly why many people are tipping them as genuine Premier League title contenders. Xabi Alonso's free-scoring Blues will have to break down the only defence yet to concede a goal this term, but with the form being shown by their deadly front three, that doesn't seem too far-fetched - and with Hull already among the division's lowest scorers, we're predicting a comfortable home win.
