Lossiemouth is the 8/13 favourite with Ladbrokes for Tuesday’s Mares’ Hurdle at Cheltenham Festival 2025 after her confirmation was announced on Sunday.
Willie Mullins’ grey was also entered into the Champion Hurdle, but after a week of speculation about where she would end up following Brightersdaysahead’s Champion declaration, Lossiemouth has been declared for the Mares’.
Second-favourite Jade De Grugy drifted to 4/1 on the back of the announcement.

There are now four heavy favourites on Tuesday, leading the bookies to anticipate a repeat of the Festival’s opening day 10 years ago, when punters were on the verge of a £50m payout on the back of Douvan, Un De Sceaux, Faugheen and Annie Power four-folds before the latter fell at the final flight.
This Tuesday’s favourites four-fold is a touch over 7/1.
Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes said: “After a week of speculation, Lossiemouth is a Mares’ Hurdle horse. It means that 10 years on from Annie Power’s dramatic fall at the last on Day 1 of Cheltenham, we’re primed for punters going big on a favourites four-fold.”
