Ladbrokes brings you a special World Cup double, with England captain Harry Kane the focus
Kane backed to win the Golden Boot at the 2026 World Cup, outscoring the likes of Messi & Mbappe
The 32-year-old is also tipped to be knighted in 2026, rounding off an unforgettable year

With England looking stronger than ever ahead of their quarter-final with Norway, Ladbrokes explores a special Harry Kane double, with the striker tipped to win the Golden Boot and be knighted in 2026.
With six goals in five games, the Three Lions skipper is still in with an excellent chance of finishing the 2026 World Cup as top scorer, particularly if England continue to progress deep into the tournament - and having already been awarded an MBE for his services to football, another Golden Boot would put him in with a real shot of being knighted at the end of the year.
Below, Ladbrokes dives into the two separate betting markets in more detail, but you can also combine them into a special Harry Kane double - which currently offers odds of 47/1.

The biggest names are really stepping up to the plate at the 2026 World Cup, with Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, and Harry Kane all scoring more than a goal a game - and we're tipping the England skipper to top the lot, winning the Golden Boot race to complete one half of this unique World Cup double.
Having broken into the top five World Cup goalscorers of all time with his strike against Mexico in the last 16, Kane is reaching heights that no English footballer has ever reached before, and with 85 goals in 119 caps, there's very little to suggest his ruthless finishing is going to let up any time soon.
With a maximum of three games still to play, the prospect of the Bayern Munich man winning his second World Cup Golden Boot (after 2018) is still incredibly realistic, with his current chances priced at just 7/1 - putting him fourth-favourite behind the aforementioned trio at the time of writing.
He will have to see off competition from the world's greatest goalscorers, but the prize is still very much within reach for captain Kane, and our experts are tipping him to nick it.
The second part of this unique Harry Kane double is slightly more left-field - and slightly more long-term - but Ladbrokes has opened a special market tipping the England marksman to be knighted in 2026, with his odds priced at just 5/1.
The England legend was awarded an MBE for his services to association football back in 2019, which was followed by the freedom of the City of London in 2023, and with his former manager Gareth Southgate already having received a knighthood in 2025, it seems hugely plausible to think England's talismanic captain - and record goalscorer - will follow suit this year.
He would be the third person to play Premier League football and receive a knighthood after Southgate and David Beckham, and having become just the second man in football history to score 70 goals in a single season, this could well be the year he joins one of the most exclusive lists in Britain.
So Harry Kane to receive a knighthood in 2026 completes a rather wacky double, with the footballing icon fancied by the bookies to be honoured before the year is out.
