Dan Skelton: Father of Jazz in tune for Huntingdon success
Published:
Ladbrokes ambassador and leading trainer Dan Skelton gave us the inside track on his three runners at Huntingdon on Sunday.

He is a good horse off the flat and has jumped loads at home. We’ve had a few entries for him but this race seems the best option. The track will very much suit him and we should go very well. We are very happy with him.
He was a good juvenile last year but is just showing signs of being a four-year-old against his rivals at the moment. He’s not as strong as the older horses, and probably not as well handicapped because he was pretty productive last year.
His form last year was in the autumn, and it sort of tailed off since then. He ran in this race last year and clearly wasn’t 100%. We are trying to do things a bit differently with him now and hope that the form comes back to him. He is in good health at home and don’t forget how much this horse gave us as a young horse. We might have to bear with him for a while and help him find his feet. He gave so much as 3, 4, 5, and 6 year-old so we have to do things a little differently for now.
