Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua fight date & venue confirmed, Fury odds-on favourite

It might be a few years overdue, but Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua finally has a confirmed date of Friday, December 11, 2026. Boxing fans will hope there are no more hitches before then and the two best British heavyweights of their generation can finally meet in the ring.

The fight's start time has not yet been confirmed, but it appears likely that it will be a late start in the UK to accommodate an American TV audience. Fury vs Joshua will be streamed live worldwide on Netflix.

After months of speculation, with London and New York both mooted as potential venues, AJ vs Fury will take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on December 11, 2026.

The Welsh capital won the race in part due to the stadium's retractable roof, whereas Wembley or the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would have been exposed to the elements of a British winter night. It also poses fewer problems if the rumoured late start time comes to fruition. Regardless, it is great news that the fight is taking place on UK soil.

Tyson Fury is odds-on with Ladbrokes to beat Anthony Joshua.

With the pair finally set to meet in Cardiff later this year, the bookies make AJ the 13/8 outsider, with Fury currently an 8/15 shot and the draw at 16/1.

In the method of victory markets, a stoppage appears likely, with the Gypsy King 11/8 to win by knockout and Joshua 5/2 to win by KO.
