Talking Tactics
Low has deployed a 3-4-3 during the European Championship, a system he had not used since 2018 but reverted to that formation after struggling in the build-up to the tournament.
He has brought defender Mats Hummels and forward Thomas Muller back into the international fold, with the latter drifting in from the right-wing position.
This allows wing-backs Robin Gosens, who scored against Portugal, and Joshua Kimmich to push high up the pitch to deliver crosses for the three forwards.
Rossi’s preferred formation for Hungary is 3-5-2 with target man Adam Szalai leading the line with Roland Sallai, who drifts to the left wing in order to gain possession.
