Ladbrokes' October International Football Accumulator & Predictions

England to beat Latvia

England's 3-0 win over Wales was quite straightforward last week, as Tuchel would've hoped, with some different goalscorers and little to cause any concern going into their World Cup Qualifier in Latvia - so we're expecting the momentum to continue with a sixth win from six in Group K.

While the starting XI - which we've predicted here - is tricky to call, England will have far too much quality for Latvia whoever gets the nod. Harry Kane should be back in from the start, especially with Ollie Watkins now ruled out, and the skipper will be confident of extending his lead at the top of the all-time scoring charts.

It could be a tough game against a stubborn Latvia side who rarely concede many goals, but the Three Lions should have enough to claim another three points.

Wales and Belgium to draw

Group J action resumes from 2026 World Cup Qualification as Wales host Belgium, with both sides coming into this off the back of disappointing results last week.

Wales lost at Wembley, while Belgium were held to a 0-0 draw by North Macedonia, making this game a crucial match in the context of Group J. One point separates the sides ahead of this one, so it will be a very tense affair - which we're expecting to end all square.

Belgium have more quality on paper, but they didn't click in their match last week, and the Wales crowd will be ferocious in Cardiff. Belgium won the reverse fixture 4-3 in June, so another unmissable clash could well be on the cards here.

Germany to win in Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland have made a decent start to life in Group A, winning two of their first three games, but they face a strong Germany side who are starting to pick up some form - so we're backing the Germans to silence the home crowd and take all three points.

Michael O'Neill's team put in an excellent display to beat Slovakia last week, so will be full of confidence ahead of the Group A clash with Germany - but the likes of Serge Gnabry and Liverpool's summer signing Florian Wirtz should have too much quality.

We don't think it will be a thrashing, with Northern Ireland putting up a real fight, but Ladbrokes is tipping Germany to retain top spot in Group A with a win.

Republic of Ireland to beat Armenia

Rounding off this acca, we're backing Republic of Ireland to claim their first win of World Cup Qualification, beating Armenia to leapfrog them in Group F.

Ireland conceded a 91st-minute goal to lose narrowly to Portugal last week, despite Caoimhin Kelleher saving a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty, and they'll take the positives from what was a good display against a very strong team. So as they welcome Armenia to the Aviva Stadium, they'll be desperate to get all three points.

Their only other home game in the Qualification campaign ended in a draw (2-2 vs Hungary), so the home crowd can certainly play a part in helping their team over the line in this one. It will be a cagey affair, but we're backing Ireland to get the job done.
